Yes!! Agree totally about what u said abt MIL

I know its not easy, esp during this stage when they are forever so active..i feel that too on wkends..
But recently she kept bringing up the subject. Telling my son wai po dun want u lah...asking me to send him to cc lah...get on our nerves sometimes right...?
And its not dat she has no chance to take a break. She will go genting every 2/3 months for about 4 days. My leave already almost used up...
Duno how to communicate wif her sometimes lah...she insists on cooking dinner though I've told her so many times we can just 'da bao' back. Wat to do???

I have conflicts with my MIL after giving birth. We had a "fight" during my maternity leave. My hubby and I are still looking for flats to move out, though she is still taking care of our daughter. Really hoping that my mum can help me to take care of my girl ... but too bad ...

Hi rainbowpooh, same same here, my mum used to say that to my kids too, not only gets on my nerves, but quite hurtful for the kids, my gal was sad and scared when she said that. My boy juz kept quiet... Anyways, must talk it out la, sweet talk included hahaha! "Jia You" ok! When kids get older, shld not be so physically tiring for them already.

Hi Angie,

I also had a "fight" with my MIL when I went back to my house during my confinement. She told everyone she will take care of me during my confinement, wont let me cook. End up I didnt get any breakfast, ate lunch only at 3pm and I even had to serve her tea and make sure she's comfortable!

Can never be the same as your own mom, she will have all my meals ready on time and even help to take care of my dd.

Bunz: Yes, that's what I a afraid to. My mum wil have a hard time looking after my sick boy if he does fall sick.

I never know that in 1 street, there could be as many as 5 CCs. I was walking from CHIJ at Sengkang to Rivervale Mall and saw 5 CCs after CHIJ to the junction turning into RM. Wow these CC knows where to target yah.

Brought my boy for his jab yesterday & the pd was surprised he was not attending any classes...she said majority of the parents already sent their dds for classes...from as young as 2 mths old!!! So...we are the odd one out...

Any mummies can share wat kind of classes suitable for a 15 mth old? Best to recommend some gd schools in HG/SK

Hi Angie & Lin

I also have a fight with my mil after giving birth. I guess that's part of post natal blues. For my case, my mil agreed to help me with my confinement and look after my son. But as time was closer to my delivery, she changed her mind. She decided to continue to work and ask her fren to look after. She said if she likes my son then she will consider to look after him. That hurt me. What is she thinking? If my son is not cute and adorable, he is not her grandson? My hubby is the only child. To accomodate him, I agreed to stay with his parents. I hope they can take care of our children. But now...I don't even dare think of having a second child. Really have phobia after this delivery.

Hi mummies,
Wow, a lot of SK mummies around, maybe we met each other at Compass Point before.. M staying at anchorvale lane, so far haven seen one in this thread.. I have a gal 19mth who is driving me nuts eversince she recovered from her flu, fever, still coughing n simply refuse milk..sigh..Her milk intake is usually 240ml per feed, now whole day not even 200ml..
