Molar Pregnancy

Just wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with molar pregnancy, either complete or partial..

Hi, had molar pregnancy in 2018. Baby had no heartbeat, was abt 10weeks but no signs of miscarriage. In the end had to go for D&C. When they sent the tissue for testing then found out it’s molar pregnancy.

History of recurrent miscarriages also. But usually my miscarriages end before 7 weeks, no heart beat.

So sorry to hear about your miscarriages.. Hope you have went on with successful pregnancy..

I had a missed miscarriage in week 8 whereby baby was detected to have no heartbeat.. Did D&C and the tissues were sent for test.. That was when I was diagnosed with partial molar pregnancy.. It was my first pregnancy..

I have some sensitive questions if you dont mind to answer..

1) Your recurrent miscarriages were before or after diagnosis of molar pregancy? Were they molar pregnancy too?

2) Do you know the reason behind molar pregnancy? Is it just a fertilization error or there is something to do with our genes etc?
