Curiousbabe12, if u intend to go back to work, u might want to consider bringing a cooler bag to store your medication as they need to be refrigerated. KK give ice pack but the ice pack melts pretty fast and become quite wet. If got cooler bag at least can keep the medication cold.
Think some ladies did say daiso sell the cooler bag so u can take a look.

Hi Curiousbabe12, just bring yourself will do... Press no.1 for your Q-no, 2 slips of Q-no will come out.. Write your name & i/c no on 1 of the Q-no and drop in the white box (just opp the Q machine).. Thats all..
After the scan, you will have to wait outside the room again & the doc will call u (same Q-no) to Room 3 or 4 and let you know what injections and etc to take.
Next, go pharmacy collect the injections & go back to the IVF ctr & press No.3 to learn how to inject and etc.. dont worry, the nurses there are friendly & helpful.. Jiayou!

Also ask for more ice pack at pharmacy cos what I do at office is when some ice pack are melting, I will put them into the freezer in the office fridge. After that swap with the other ice packs then just do it 2 or 3 times when I remember so that the cooler bag is kept cool for the medication. Hope it helps!

Coz the moving ard kkivf centre, buy med (pharmacy can b quite long q & seems like IVF drugs take longer time to dispense), learn to jab etc (each station is a new q) can b quite time consuming. I ended up, being there for 3 to 4 hrs & was in a rush to get back to office..

Hi, I m currently with Dr Zhao @ Raffles TCM. Package 5 sessions ard 380+ or 390+ (can't rem v well..), no med. if require med, the med is v cheap like s$10 only.
Yes, need to make appt & norm, minimal waiting time..
I was previously with Dr Zou @ AMK during fresh #1 but can't afford the distance travelling now..

Dr Zhao (raffles) med - so far I was only prescribed once, & was ard $10 for 6 days supply. Her med r those "general" med, so I guess the low-pricing bah..

The last I know from the nurse is that they are not closing or wat. Juz tt, due to the long weekend holiday for aug national day, they can't do ER/ ET then. So anyone with menses CD1 16 jul, they don't accept. In case ER/ ET end up then. But when another sister called after I did, the date was pushed forward to 10 jul.. So, the above r Juz for ur reference. Best to call to confirm..

Morning ladies!! I wanna check with you all, I'm going back next Friday for a scan after all the jab do my hubby need to go with me and dispose all his semen? I'm kind of blur and forgetful. Does that mean after the scan they will reterive the eggs anytime soon? Thanks

Hi,
It depends on how well ur body is responding to the stimulation drugs and how much ur follicles have grown. Usually, the doc will want to have more follicles at about 17 or 18 mm before they get you to go for the trigger shot. It'll usually need at least another 2 scans. Trigger shot is two days before ER and only on ER day, ur husband will have to produce the sperms. =)

@twinkletot, no i did not go for review after my last fet...my nxt review wif dr tan is on 22 jul..but dr tan has already pre-arranged my 2nd fresh in apr if i fail my fet in may...
My first fresh was on pervogeris n gonal-f but now im on menopur n gonal-f but it seems that im more responsive to gonal-f based on my first fresh..

I had SIS done yesterday and was told by the doctor who was doing the procedure for me that I have mild scarring. She was not willing to share more and told me that I should discuss further with my doctor. But my next appointment is on 14th July.. It's a long way to go
I had no choice and resorted to doctor google and asherman's syndrome 'pops' throughout the list. My doctor have not confirmed I'm having it yet (as in did not officially said so) but I'm just looking for solutions first coz more or less I think that's what it is. Can you share with me what's the outcome for your last SIS? Is your uterus cleared? Which doctor did it for you?
Btw, here's some background info of myself for everyone to know:
Unexplained infertility
1st IVF - June 2013 - chemical pregnancy (1st beta was too low and subsequently started bleeding)
2nd IVF - Jan 2014 - Positive beta but mis miscarriage. Had to evacuate my uterus.
3rd IVF - June 2014 - Neg
4th IVF - Dec 2014 - Positive - Ectopic. Had to remove my left tube
5th IVF - April 2015 - Positive but miscarried at 5.5 weeks.
As you can see, I'm almost depleting my subsidies for ART and almost using up the max claimable from medisave. Im so desperate now. I really need some good doctor who can clear my scarring and try one last time of IVF. I don't even know if the scarring is the cause of the miscarriages. Scarring could be due to the evac of my uterus? im really not sure.. nevertheless, Im not blaming anyone. I believe in god's will.

Hi hajar, so sorry for what u've gone thru. i have done my sis and just consulted dr tan hh. He saw some scarring in my uterus and scheduled me for hysteroscopy nx week. If he finds any scar tissue, he will cut it there and then. I will have iud in me for 2 months to prevent rescarring and will have to go for hormone treatment to regrow my lining. So, my ivf is postponed to 2 months later. Hope this info helps. Btw, did u do any test for your multiple miscarriage? Seems like you dont have problem getting pregnant but have difficulty sustaining a pregnancy.Hi Elaneus,

Hey elaneus...think you have got the wronged person...aniway to update ive seen dr tan.for hysteroscopy as such to remove the scar from my previous d&c.if ive known it earlier due to scarring that prevent me got implant naturaly i wd haf gone for it early.oh well.put the past behind.lets look forward.remove scar.put iud 2mths and wait for natural miracle baby dust to hapen once again wif a stable bfp dis time..thats what ive been told by dr.tan after meeting him.
