Gynae to Recommend in the West

Hi all,

I am currently at 18 weeks and seeing a gynae in NUH but not very comfortable with the doctor. Any gynae to recommend in the west? Possibly share the annenatal package as well?

Dr John Yam @Jurong Point. His stitching is pretty good, din feel any pain at wound after natural delivery. Can call 6474 3821 for appt.

hi thefatturtle, how is your experience with dr tho? is he very busy or will rush appointments? and are his rates reasonable? i've read pretty good reviews about him and would really like to try out.
 
I'm currently 39 weeks n also seeing Dr Tho Chin Keong frm Astra Women's Clinic (jurong east). My experience with him hv been pleasant. He is calm, gentle and will not rush thru his appt with patients. Reason why I chose him is bcos he is pro-natural. Prenatal package start frm 20 weeks onwards ard $950. He can deliver at Mt A, Mt E Novena n TMC. Just to add, his clinic assistants are also vr friendly and helpful :)

thats very good to know, atan85, thanks a lot! and congrats to you! u must be waiting now at 39w, have a smooth delivery!!! i also prefer pro-natural gynaes and its one of the points i see many ladies mention about dr tho :) his staff certainly will also make the experience very nice! do you remember the rates of his consultations before getting the package and if his medication is reasonable price? thanks !!
 
Hi Jorkulsalon sorry for the late reply. He is ok and rates from what I rmb frm 3 yrs ago was acceptable. Not so sure now. But i will know once i go back to him on 23rd tis mth. I update you in due time.

I am also seeing Dr John Yam. His stitches is good. Painless recovery for me :) His package cost $941.60 fr 14th week of pregnancy.

Thanks xuanyce! :) I realised I am having twins instead singleton hehehe, I hope he is good with twins as well :)
