fingernail cuts on face

my boy likes to put his hands in his mouth, salivate and then rub his face with his hands when he is tired..as such, resulted in some fingernail cuts.

have taken off his mittens because we feel it is time to do so when he hits 3 months old.

how do you deal with such cuts?

just leave them as they are?

Hi, you can the nails short and also try to file it to ensure no sharp edges on the nails. As baby nails grow very fast...so you need to keep checking the nails for growth. Hope it helps.

For the cut you can treat it with aloe vera gel or just leave it. It will heal by itself.
