Endometriotic Cyst

Hi,

I was diagnosed with endometriotic cyst 3 mths ago...Have a second scan ystd and found that it has grown double the size...10cm now...was so shocked that it has grown so fast..Doc suggested surgery but I was worried and do not wish for surgery...

would like to go for 2nd opinion..any gd doc to recommend? or TCM?
anyone can share their experience?

hi there, i had miscarriage 3 weeks ago and doc told me that i have cysts on both ovaries (bilateral), 4.3cm & 3cm. I am going to see him again next week to decide on the options as one of them are complex with internal echoes, could be malignant. I am also very worried. Doc asked me to not eat anything when I go down next week as after the discussion, he may want to perform the surgery right away. this sounds scary, he refused to tell me more over the phone until we meet again.

I have had friends who went through the "key hole", less invasive surgery, it is simple and recovery process is faster. One of them had benign cyst on one side, about 7cm, after which she uses TCM to help to minimise the chance of recurrence. I think it depends on you, if you are not planning to have kids, then you can try birth control pills, as I heard it helps to prevent it from coming back while waiting for the current one to dissipate on its own. If you are trying to conceive, then perhaps removing it will help reduce the risk of pregnancy complication. All surgeries carries certain amount of risk though...
