Hi Mummies , where can I find help for my breast engorgement?

I went back to the hospital I delivered. They have lactation specialist there
I used to engage this lady for breast massage to clear engorgement and increase BM. Not cheap I must say - same price abt u see a lactation consultant at the hospital... In my own view she is very good at it after I compared to 2 other Malay masseurs I used (those are much cheaper but super pain for me as they use brute strength, n not v punctual) But I'm reluctant to recommend because she is considered quite "expensive" so some people "play" her out so if u r not serious about it. PM me if u r really keen n serious.
But just to say her timing is mostly fully booked so once I hv booked, I stick to my timing..
BTW I'm not related to her. I used her since I pop last August n until recently now finishing my last session of the package. I'm still having enough BM to breastfeed my twins...

U cn try call diana@94303810.. affordable $... she does wrapping too. For breast engorge, she helps me clear e ducts. N she do show me e way to massage my breast..;
you can call TMC, KKH or Mount Alvernia lactation consultant to help~ dont need to go back to the hospitals to consult actually.

Go bck to e lactation consultant is quite costly n they will definitely advice u to use cold cabbage to reduce engorge.. n actually it doesnt wrk tho.. try massage using hot towel. It really helps.
yup, a little at high side. but their advice will let u feel more confident to continue ur breastfeeding journey.

maybe can ask for their advice first before proceeding to any person?

Actually, bf journey is fun if u knw how to overcme it. If ure a SAHM, latching is advisable. N for wrkng mummies, make n effort to pump
Dun gve up on bf, its nt only healthy n nutritious for ur bby bt its also a matter of e bonding between u n ur bby.. n its dun cost u any $$...
Bt i shud say buying e equip for pumping is $ tho bt its nt as ex as buying a formula...
Wateva it is dun gve up on bf.... b thankful dat uve hi supply, some unlucky mummies, who really wanna fully bf really cnt make it with e v v Lo supply...
So keep ur endurance going..

For Engorgement you can just hot compress, massage and try to hand express out. Pump is not helpful for engorgement which is not near to areola area... ask your baby to latch on is much better than pump. I have contacted mild mastitis so i engaged doris fok to help me hand express the blocked duct out. Cost about $120 for home visit.

Frozen cabbage also helps. Old school way. Just be mindful don't over do. As it may reduce the milk

it reduces milk supply... e best to reduce engorge by latching n massage.
