Bosch Oven

I bought a bosch oven 2 years ago and it continuously gave me problems, the oven buttons froze and thus not able to bake. After preparing all my ingredients, happen so many times, I had requested for change of the oven but they refused and changed only the parts.

Now, my warranty has expired and again it froze. Parts was just changed about 8-9 months ago, and used less than 5 times.

I refuse to budge on the repair costs which would easily cost me $200-300 for repair, and who knows it would malfunction again in another 8 months.

Has anyone has such similar experience, did you go to Small Claims or did CASE handle it well?

Meltedicecream: More than 3 times over a 1 plus year period. Control Panel changed twice over the 1+ year. Now, same problem persist even with new control panel.

I have gone to CASE to report.

Reporting to CASE might not get your problem solved.
Not sure how firm are you when you asked for a oven replacement but personally I think talking to the customer service won't help.
You need to talk to someone who can make the decision.

But it has been 2 years and your warranty is already over. No way you can fight for anything from BOSCH at this point of time.
It is more advisable to purchase a new oven and boycott BOSCH brand from now on.
It is pointless to spend money on repair / replace the parts since you had it repaired and replaced for more than 3 times within a year during the warranty period.

BOSCH is not a popular brand for oven. I understand they are promoting their mixer recently but still it is not a popular brand for mixer too.
So better to buy a oven where the brand is more popular in the market.
Hope your next oven will not give you such problem again. Cheer up and don't let it ruin your days.

i got a bosch oven/glass plate cooker but it's not with the buttons just knobs to turn..mine so far ok..just that now after 6 years a part of the inside metal heating element is bending at the side..else it's ok for me. Just to also ask is this the only electrical appliance that has broken down in your hse? Or some other stuffs too like tv/bluedisk player/hairdryer etc? cos i've known some ppl who have very often electrical appliances broken down due to the electro-magnaetic field in their hse..if not otherwise, you might want to choose other brands next time but my opinion is that these days things are not made to last, unlike in older times remember the slow cooker? the glass cover as well as the pot itself has a different material-feels heavier compared to the lighter version these days. And i can still use my hand me down 40yrs old mixer from my MIL now compared to the one i've bought a while ago it just went kaput..
