Bleeding in 2nd trimester

Hi anyone have experienced bleeding in 2nd trimester? Not spotting but bleeding. I had it twice in a week and it all started with go toilet to pee. After i pee i realised the toilet bowl was all red and when i wiped myself there were blood clots.

I had no pain before that. Just a normal trip to toilet. Twice i rushed to a&e but was told the bleeding has reduced to minimal and baby is fine. Realised it usually cleared up in an hour. I had scan done recently and i have blood clots in my uterus.

I will like to know if anyone else has similar experience and will it affect the pregnancy.

I had a bleeding episode beginning of 2nd trimester. Went gynae to check and discovered my polyp has grown so long until it bleed. Otherwise no other episodes of unknown bleeding.

U shud consult ur gynae.. it may b dangerous. Its best nt to wait, spots n bleeding is diff babe. So advisable to consult ur gynae asap

Totally understand your worries. I'm in my 13th week and had on off bleed / spot in the past 2 weeks. Doc couldn't tell what's the reason (even more frustrating), said its not normal but very common these days. However bed rest has worked for me so far, so I suggest u do the same and monitor closely

Hi i have seen my gynae. So far ultrasound could detect blood clots accumulating. Doc has put me on bedrest hospitalisation leave. But full bedrest is difficult, we will still go out and have our meals.

The only thing i can do now is observe. So far none of my frens have huge bleeding like mine. At most spot so they find it very unusual.

I have a complex medical history and with this might complicate my already super high risk pregnancy.

At least 5 days no huge bleeding for now. I hope it will not affect my pregnancy. Just wondering anyone else manage to deliver safely even after such bleeding episodes?

@alexis83 During my pregnancy, I was visiting my gynea almost fortnightly cos I was either spotting / bleeding. I was given a lot of bed rest n was told dat my placenta was low. Told me 2 walk less. DH went 2 rent a wheelchair so I wont have 2 walk too much in office. Quite embarrassing but since I wanted 2 go back 2 wk, DH only relent when I agree 2 use d wheelchair. Things improved 4 me when I was into my final trimester.... I gave birth 2 a healthy gal.

Hello mummy, god decision to rush to A&E for a check and did not ignore it. I know it is troublesome and costly, but honestly. **touchwood** if it happen again i will still reccommend you to A&E for a check.
