kkh will be cheaper than tmc coz the former is a subsidized hospital while the latter is a private hospital.
the cost of staying depends on yr delivery type and the number of days u would need to stay in the hospital.
Charges should range from around 6k stay in 1 bedded room.
Few years ago, tmc allow u to upgrade from 4 bedded to 2 bedded wards, subject to availability but at no extra charges.
not sure if this is still the current practice.

KK bills mommy and baby separately.
Sample bill for KKH in 2011:
$4000 for the mother's 2 days delivery package (normal virginal birth. private patient with specified doctor. 1-bedder on the newly-renovated Women Tower level 8. Includes epidural, daddy stayover, medication to bring home)
$700 for the baby's stay in the nursery. Rates tagged to mommy's ward class.

hi,anybody has any idea on the check in timing?they only mentioned on the discharge timing like 11am and 5pm. so if i checked in at 10pm,will they charge me 1 day at 11am discharge or 5pm discharge?
Hi there, I'm a 2nd time mum and would like to find out if anyone's got any advice regarding the bills/comparison between TMC 1-bedded and the private suite at KkH.. Would it be cheaper at TMC in that scenario?
And does anyone have any idea what the antenatal packages at TMC cost like?
And lastly, has anyone had any experience with bfeeding immediately after birth at TMC? Cos I had a bad experience at Kkh and would really love to bf immediately after birth (provided no probs with baby) as it would hopefully ensure bfeeding success with my 2nd child unlike my 1st. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
