She is a TCM that specialises in fertility. She gives both TCM herbs and does acupuncture. I was recommended to see her by a Friend who initially had some fertility issues, but after seeing dr Zou for 2 months she conceived naturally and have a baby girl now.
For myself, while I wasn't as lucky as my Friend, having seen dr Zou for over a year, my general health has improved alot and having done my first IVF this Feb (while still going to dr Zou to do acupuncture to complement my IVF cycle), I was lucky enough to get a BFP. Her herbs I believe helps strengthens the womb, accuputnure helps with blood circulation and lining.
She is a very patient, assuring TCM and her charges are very reasonable. I am going to continue to see her now still to ensure that bb will be stable.
Lapin, the herbs must boil or satchet form? Post embryo transfer can't lie flat on tummy, hence I supposed ur accunpture post transfer was at the abdomen?
It's all satchel form. During period one type, after period before ovulation another type - for good eggs, after ovulation another type - for lining.
Yes after cannot lie flat on tummy. We do 20mins front, and 20mins back (but lie sideways instead of flat).

Hi, I stopped the herbs once I started this IVF cycle, I only continued with accuptunure. TCM dr Zou left it optional for us whether we would like to continue taking the herbs, it does not clash if we separate 2-3hr from the jabs she says but she said it's entirely up to us cos if taking the herbs makes us worry about clashing etc hence making us more stress, then it's better we don't take. For myself I stop becos I feel jabbing is already quite a torture, don't wanna have to still drink bitter herb medicine - less so about worrying it clashes.
I've started taking herbal an tai medication from dr Zou after being tested positive for pregnancy. Am 6wks plus preg, been taking her Ang tai Med since wk 4. Will continue to see her until baby is stable enough.
Sorry to hear about your loss. If I'm in your shoes I'll see dr Zou and see what she suggest. TCM is about tiao body condition to make it more optimal. But ultimately, it also depends on how comfortable you and your hubby are with exploring TCM.
Thank u. We did see a TCM at Serangoon north Dr Pauline to conceive, she gave me some medicine in capsules and said it's to make my womb strong and Husband his sperm. Not sure why when I got pregnant already then I had brown spotting and I went to KKH o&g clinic they told me early sign of pregnancy then refer to see gynae and gynae did scan and said baby growing out of the womb.

Hi, I also see dr Zou for ivf.. wondering if you call to arrange session for an tai once you know your result? Only medication given?
Yes I called the clinic to arrange to see dr Zou after BFP. Then she will help u take pulse to check bb fine, and it's purely medication - Ang tai yao. No need for any more accunputure
After you hear bb heartbeat around 6wks and if curious about the gender of bb, pulse taking dr Zou would be able to make a prediction on the gender. Hehe!

Great... then I shall call in tmr to book appt too... just want to be safer side... but is the medicine taste yucky?? Like the one she gave during menses?

I take the Ang tai herbs. It taste sour-ish, def much better tasting than the Med during period and better than the other 2 types too during ttcing

You can try DR Zou Yu Min at Blk 505 Ang Mo Kio Ave 8 S(560505), she is famous and good in fertility and will explain to you anything you ask her. Call 2 to 3 days advance to make appt at Tel: 64560833 as her schedule is quite pack especially peak hour and weekend.

Thanks for the reply! I've been to Dr Zou once before but I really dislike acupuncture. Hoping to find a TCM that don't need to do acupuncture...
You can opt for just herb if you dont like acupuncture.
Me with her too but i dont like herb so i only acupuncture. =)

Hi! Just wanted to share my experience with Dr Chen Mei Er at Everspring clinic. I was suspected with endometriosis during my fertility check at Thomson Medical during end of last year. My doc suggested to go for surgery until we heard from my hub fren's wife whom got preg after a mth at this TCM after a miscarriage. I went to consult Dr Chen for 2 visits in Feb and March and I got tested positive last weekend.
There is no acupuncture needed and just need to drink the medicines only.

She is gd for backache. I used to see her b4 for my slip disc. Now almost fully recover no more pain. She on the way add meds for fertility thou. They also have accpunture for fertilty and many many needles i lost count. Poke ear area too. But very long q and wait.

Hi everyone, I need advise. I'm 37 years old .Went for check up last week and gynae mentioned my uterus is enlarged. I feel that I keep have the urge of going to pee, monthly menses is usually delayed by 10-15 days. 2nd to 4th days more heavier but manageable by taking painkiller. End about 7 days. I had gave birth to 2 kids and gynae ask me to remove uterus since I had gave birth. Anyone can advise me? No medication, iron pills, epo and fish oil is given. I had visited Dr Chen mei er and she gave me medicine.

Do you feel better after seeing tcm? Maybe she can ask for her advise. She is a nice doc. seen her couple of times.
I just saw her this tues. Waiting time is very long. Just took few days medication

I went through the same thing as u last year but mine was the left fallipoan tube.. Did my FET recently but the embryo didn't implant.. Thinking of starting tcm.. any luck for u so far?

Even if you made appointment, anyone can come in to take your place. Then I realised, it doesn't matter whether you make appointment or not as they go by 1st come 1st serve number system. Many times, I waited for almost 2 hours for my turn. It's quite bad as you would need to see her 5-6 times a month. (for consultation, take medicine and acupunture.) so alot of time wasted on waiting.
Dr Tan Kian Seng is good with male fertility. My husband's sperm quality improved tremendously just in 2 months.
For me, his medicine didn't work as well. I felt a dip in my health in fact, so I left my husband to see him while I go see other doctors.
