Any TCM to Intro?

Mrs chew, Thanks for your reply. Is she good after you see her? what is she specialize in?

She's friendly. As for her skill, I not too sure yet. Cos I first time see her. My fren who miscarriage 3 times, went to her, after that, managed to have 3 kids. And her sis who tried many times and had 1 miscarriage oso went to her and get preg after that.

I go to:

Sanshu Medical Hall
Blk 11 Jalan Bukit Merah
#01-4446
Tel: 62726788

For normal illness, I find that his medcine works for me. I took gynae's med when I had spotting during my 1st trimester but did not go away but it stopped after drinking his med.

For infertlity, I heard that he has helped some of his patients to conceive but I hv no experience with that.

But he is able to know your baby's gender in early stages of pregnancy. He is able to know after 4-6 weeks of pregnancy. He told me, my sis, my cousin our baby's gender at 6 weeks and all are accurate.

Hi Angie,
I've been going to TCM Dr Tan Kian Sing, Clementi Blk 433, #01-266. Tel: 6872 3237.
His medication comes in sachets, you just need to pour all the sachets into a glass and then pour boiling water. Very simple. He can also speak english. I got his contact from this forum also. Looks like a lot of ppl recommending him.

hi all, after seeing Dr Tan for about 2-1/2 cycles, i got my BFP.

I too have been wondering whether to continue with the an tai yao he prescribed. After discussing with my gynae, and family, i've decided to stop the daily dosage. Reason being the baby's development work in the 1st trimester is very crucial and we do not know for sure if these herbs are safe. Since everything seems ok at the moment, we decided to let nature takes its own course. The outcome is unknown if we stop or continue with the medicine. It is a difficult choice with no right or wrong answer but we decided to let things be as natural as possible. I surfed the net, and many people recommend to stay drug free as much as possible first trimester.

How about others here? Anyone continued with the TCM medicine after you are pregnant? Which doctor and whats the outcome..

Hi
has anyone consulted this TCM, Dr Loh Kim Gek before? Is she good? Heard she's one of the physician at Tongji clinic.

Hi,

Am currently seeing someone at Tongji because am ttc second child. Had 2 miscarriages last year. I was introduced by my colleague. She continueed taking the med until week 12 of her pregnancy alongside with hormone jabs from her gynae and today, her gal is a healthy 3-year old.

I think its okay to take the herbs.

Btw, I have seen indian couples at Tongji before.

jan4january,

Not sure if they treat eczema but you can get more info here: http://www.stcmi.org.sg

Thong Chai provides free medical treatment and medicine but patients do give a small token of appreciation.

I've not really been there but heard that the waiting time for medicine is long. You can choose to photocopy the prescription and buy the medicine from other TCM halls.

Word of advise - If u going to Thong Chai aka Tong Ji to see the fertility sinseh there. Be sure that you are 2yrs into yr marriage.

Cos Sinseh won't see you unless u are 2yrs married

i was with a TCM, Dr Tan SL from Tongji for a yr but didnt managed to conceive. I am very upset as I have been taking brew medication for a yr with my hubby but we saw no results.

There's a good TCM physician at Telok Blangah who speaks both English and Mandarin.. She has a masters and Phd in TCM and used to work for Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Her charges are very reasonable. For the last decade or so, my whole family (and extended family) have gone to see her for all our TCM treatments...

She even has a blog where she posts about the cases she has treated etc...

Call 62726400 for address and opening hours... Clinic's name is Yong Kang Medical Hall and physician's name is Dr. Ong Swee Ling.

Dr. Ong didnt speak much to know more about problem. She asked me to take 1 month course ($160).Today is my 3rd day of medicine and my skin is almost clear (40%) I will recommend her for skin problems.
