hi ladies,
wow everybody dah tak sabar nak puasa eh. dah sibuk cari tingkat dinner. Yalah, I every year I always have problems with buka food, always tak sempat nak masak or too tired after work, sometimes tak sempat nak beli, then also got tired of the food from those Ramadhan Bazaar.
I was actulally looking at those website u all posted, problem is, I don't like some of the dishes ... so was thinking, & pondering ... then decided to call my mom & 'upah' her instead to cook all my Mondays-Fridays nye ramadhan dinner. She said she pening to think of what to cook for me but I said no probs, I'll set the menu (lagi best kan!) so my problems solved. Yg best nye, get to eat dishes from my fav chef in the world, my mom! So tadi I sibuk lah nak buat my ramadhan menu
Khatan,
my 17 mth old baby boy pun sunat when he's abt 4 wks old, if not earlier tapi pasal dia hospialised for 14 days right after he was born due to jaundice, so my hb and dad suruh tunggu another couple of wks.
idah,
u can always request for it, like I did, cuz I want to see my bb. But I under highrisk, so I get the ultrasound scanning every visit.
birthdays,
for me it's always a small family affair, kat rumah je, takde catering. once my mom masak briyani dam kambing (kambing from my son's aqiqah) for my gal's 4th b'day last year. Usually it's me, hb, our kids, my parents, my sisters and nieces & nephews, that's all. But the last 2 years abit quiet cuz both my niece & nephew kat boarding school in Penang, so on top of the usual guest lists, 2 of my cousins came for my bb boy 1st b'day in Feb and my gal's 5th b'day last mth. Usually I order pizza, lasagne from Canadian Pizza, puffs/pies from Polar, fried chicken from KFC, several bottles of soft drinks and a birthday cake. Semua makan ringan2 yang easy to eat and good to eat. I used to pack goodie bags for the kids, now the kids cuma my own kids and one nephew. But the main thing is, everybody had fun and it's good family time for all of us!
