cakap pasal nasi ayam so far only 2 places i like so much at bukit merah, the shop bawah block near ABC pasar & near my place the Banquet at greenridge.. ni dua je lah pada me sedap.. esp e one at Bukit Merah syiok sgt n everytime beli mesti beli kulit ayam hehe.. naik cholestrol n fats seh..

abt e gst offset tu, dah dpt pun buka tadi pagi tp ku hampa sgt coz only get $100 wherease hub got $300 n MIL also $300 seh.. so a fren of my pun dpt sama n she called to enquire rupanya salah, so i need to call them also to tell them that they are wrong for calculating wat im supp to get.. but still couldnt get thru lah e phone asik engage je..

ni yg nasi ayam ni, saper yg cakap kat tanglin halt tu..ish~...memang sedap! power! i dah cuba dah...its cook by chinese kan, but halal lah...the cili is powerful...siap ngan acar~...tapi tak tahu pulak dah pindah . Pasal yg belikan slalu my kakak yg tinggal sana, kempunan pulak biler teringat nasi ayam tu... :D

Yesterday i watched deal or no deal. The contestant so drama ah. i swear these pple all the producers picked from inner circle one.. if normal pple where got so drama on tv. But if I am playing the game, personally i would set a target.. say.. $20K or $30K once the banker offer reaches my target i will DEAL....its all a game of probability...and I am not such a big risk taker. Of course la kalau the offer is four digit only sape nak kan.

Actually i want to ask, any of you ever eat the dragon fruit yg dalam dia merah??? I baru tau got such thing. bec we got it for fruit day. My office every 15th of the month we get 3 diff fruits..

My fren told me its artificial coloring, is it true? A collegue said after you eat it, your pee semue jadi merah.... scary hor..

Pertama kali i dengar fruit ni, bila adik i kena buat lukisan buah ni. Dragon fruit ni kan, orang cina suka makan dan kadang-kadang dia orang beli buah ni untuk buat sembahyang.
 
ic, no la. i ternampak dia buat thread cari playgroup pat Tampines utk Sarah. Cos sarah mcm quite bore la pat rmh. Dia nk cari teman utk Sarah gaknye. Anyway, Lani da dapt skola da utk DD dia.

Pasal GST nie, da dapat surat smlm tp blom pi Atm lagi. Mesti q panjang. Neway smp June pe. Pelan2 la. Besides bukannye byk. hehe... $200 je. lain la kalo $2000. Dulu byr tax lebih dari tu seh. Tp since jadi SAHM nie, $200 better than nothing eh.

the thing abt the dragon fruit ni, yg white one i like to eat. but i wldnt want to eat the red one if its artificial coloring.

kalau sampai pee semue jadi merah... i think maybe the body cannot digest la...kalau bende natural kan bole digest. So i takut la nak makan.

My company ni MC rate very high..so HR wants to promote healty living. kite ade fruit day, kat pantry ade Vit C free for all, then even have Eu Yan Sang Satchets to fight heatiness... pun banyak org MC...

no wonder today i terbatuk-batuk sampai tersedak-sedak!! you two talking about me eh?? kekeke...

yalah, like zu said, these 2 days i was busy merayap satu tampines cari suitable PG for sarah.

like i said in the other posting, she is VERY bored at home lah, even tho me and the maid play with her the whole day also, can see she needs something different.

so i thought it would be good if i can ust send her for those 1.5-2hrs PG around my area, just for her to fill up her time. kalau main-main aje pun tak kisah lah, at least she gets to play & interact with other kids her age.

but my search was fruitless lah. i wanted to find something very cheap, ard $100+ per mth only, something similar to Apple Tree, but don't have lah.

the ones i found in tampines which suits her timing (ie. after 10.30am) are tumbletots and MMI, but sooo expensive! i am not willing to pay that kind of $$ just for her to play only.

then got 1 playschool which is quite cheap, $150/mth only, but it is during her nap time, ie. 2.30-4pm.

haiz, looks like she will just have to be content with her mummy and the maid being her playmates for the rest of this yr lah, until she goes to sch next yr...

the gathering in june masih menjadi tak? i'll be free on most weekdays before 4pm. the exact schedule belum tahu lagi lah. but lebih kurang camtu lah.

alot of CCs and kindergartens have it. even PAP and PCF also have. in fact the PAP/PCF kindergarten in front of my hse is having their registration this sat. i saw the poster/banner, and it's stated there that they have pre-nursery class for those born in 2005 (that means 3YO lah).

why don't you go check it out! i'm sure your place got PAP/PCF right?

pre-nursery class is usually 3hrs.

for my dd's sch, they have 2 sessions: 8.30am-11.30am and 11.30am-2.30pm, so i registered my dd for the later session.

Lani, u just get a few SAHMs in Tampines to get together so the kids can interact la. Dats wat i do also. Cos my area here pun takde PG for under 3yr old. Ade pun yg pat childcare. I pun rase not worth it to hantar Adam pi MI and Tumbletots etc setakat utk main2 je. Buang duit kan. So slalu on every Tues, Adam pi those informal playgroup. Kadang main2, ade jgk storytelling music etc.

Lani, not all PAP/PCF ade pre-nursery classes la. Like my plc, takde. They only have classes for 4yrs old onards, which is the nursery class.

Junaine, it depends jgk.
Kadang diff sch diff names:
3YO-Playgroup
4YO-Nursery
5YO-K1
6YO-K2

Mostly our kids can only start to go to sch tahun depan. Bile dorang masok 3tahun.

Hahaha. No wonder you MIA. I sekarang tengah pissed. You know my son's chinese name, i tak tahu baca cina. So i told my hubby, i leave it to him. Lagi pun, tak official and not in BC, so i dont' really care. Setakat untuk next time time lesson cina aje. Hubby dah lah pick out nama dia. Tapi dia cuma briefly bilang i yang bila dia tunjuk bapa dia, bapa dia kata sound like "mountain shake" so cina character no good. So dia tukar. Jadi, cerita ni dah mati. Tak crop lagi pasal nama. Sampai lah sekarang......

Just so happen, my kawan kerja tanya. Tapi dia suruh i tunjuk chinese characters nye kerana dia orang kata kalau panggil gitu aje, susah nak tahu makna and nak pronounce betul, bila i tunjuk..dia ketawa. Dia kata, mana ada orang kasi nama macam gitu? Dia kata pelik.

You tahu, apa bapa mentua siul i namakan anak i?
"Right Occupation". I rasa dia ada F*** social stigma problem lah!!!!

bagos eh adam ade informal playgroup.i wish my area ade cos i nak my dd to mix alot with other kids.. kat rumah takde ape nak buat, ulang2 dia nak tengok dia nye flashcard.. abeh jalan2 kat shopping centre, balek2 suntec.. boring ah..

gym semua ade trial but bayar ah unless u lucky then sometimes ade free trial. yg kat downtown east namanye explorer kids..

hmm korang stay at west and east lucky seh.. got many malay nye kindergarten.. my place cuma ade pcf and the pcf cuma ajar cina and yg lagi satu ajar cina and tamil. dilemma la i cos tk tau nak masokkan dia pre nursery kat mana.. kat sini ade masjid yg dekat but masjid pulak start wif nursery, takde pre nursery.. sigh..

Tempat tu namanya explorer kids. Bayaran dia orang 1 jam, $8. Kalau ada NTUC member, cuma $6, 1 jam. 1 anak = 1 mak / bapa (FOC). Bayar untuk anak aje. Kalau laki bini nak masuk, kena bayar lagi satu kepala lah.

Gym, ada trial. Tanya lani lah. Dia pandai ni semua. Kalau tak salah, dia pergi try out.

Oh. So your anak punya nama cina official dalam BC? Tak.. itu "right occupation" is translate direct dari cina. Makna cina dia pun "right occupation". Macam i kata, bapa mentua siul i ni ada social stigma problem. Mungkin dia takut yang anak lelaki dia punya keturunan dah ada darah melayu jadi takut orang melayu tak dapat kerja betul lah. And plus bila i beranak anak i, laki i tukar kerja.

U pernah gi trial with aquaducks? Ingatkan nak masukkan farah swimming lah. Dia suka swimming tapi pasal asyik balik lambat je or keluar weekend, tak dpt bawak dia gi pool. Where's the nearest location for aquaducks? Setahu I they have a few locations kan?

my MIL nye fren kata takut sgt tgk cite jgn pandang blakang so I gave it a miss. My hb nk je ajak i tgk cite tu tapi kalau dia keje mlm, my mind will go haywire thinking of all the freaking images and happenings...*seerraaammm*

eh.. bergerak jugak thread nie... last two days i was not in office la.. so susah nak access the net.

sibuk betul these few days, maklumla robinsons sale, so terkejar kejar la i. tadi pegi metro sale kat expo.. takde ape ape la...other than many many underwear and bra. Got cheap support stockings tho, 3 pairs in one packet and it costs only $2.60 per packet!!! borong la. i also bought my son a swiiming costume. So coincidental, you all pun cakap pasal swimming. Do kids need to wear the thermal kind for swimming?

crite hantu ni i tak tengok la.. i penakut.. terpandang pandang nanti..ish..spiderman tu pun i tak enjoy sangat.. but i watched blades of glory last nite... ok la for a good laugh..

but lately kan movie yg i watch and love and so far dah tengok berkali kali is The Lake House.... so feeling la... and i am so into Keanu Reeves, if he makes a movie just standing there aje pun I will watch...

Tomorrow morning plan to bring my boy for early morning walk at east coast, hopefully it doesnt rain. Then nak pegi ikea, need to get some boxes to store some handbags.

Finally I bought my son a walker yesterday. i didnt want to get one for him bec i takut dia jatuh. but i made it clear that the walker can only use in the living room and the kitchen, tempat lain tak boleh. So far he naik walker, he moves backwards...

I'm back after MIA for quite a while now. Biasalah, busy woman. If you all ask me, I tak ingat lah what I was busy wt except wt tonnes of playdates for my kids plus si kecik tu dah 1wk already cough & flu. Now si abang dia pulak demam panas. Ish, dah start lah ni lagi...apa virus pulak this time?


Ok straight to the point, bila ni nak buat gathering? I tak kisah, weekday or weekend anytime pun is ok.
Mana the list eh? Dah updated tak? Lets do like this: siapa interested, letak nama & preference for w'end or w'day & morning or afternoon. Then we go by majority lah. AFter that baru we tetapkan date.
