Actually pasal kat Safra punya, parents not allowed on it & my elder twin (Khayr), dia tu a bit hesitant if its somewhere new so he will just duduk 1 corner unless kakak or adik dia show him the way!

Ok like shermin said i went to allshapes just now for my first session. Let me make it clear, i am no way related to them ok, i am just sharing my experiance.
First impression:
Positive. the place look pleasant and they pple are frenly except that dhorangg semeuaa chakhap seelang...hehhee
Promo:
the $30 promo kan is for ONE MONTH!!! Macam hard to believe kan, u boleh datang anytime and use the machines or the circuit training or the classes.... anytime for only $30 during the promo period

Memang allshapes ade kat sane, tak payah malu malu, the instructors will guide u and u do at ur own pace
Fitness Assessment
Ade assessment for 1st timer. my body fat is 40.8% Haiz... genap kan 50 sekali kan bagus....what am i? a whale?
Machines
They got treadmill, cross-trainer. they dun use weights during the circuit but their machines are pneumatic driven. So u dun bulk up but tone up (at least thats what the girl said)
SAHM
Other than the promo rate, SAHM boleh sign up for off peak membership which is cheaper. Off peak hr is mon to fri 12pm to 5pm.
Creche
Belum ready lagi. coming soon.
Minus point
For actual membership they actually charge annual entrace fee of $250 (now got 15% discount)on top of that the monthly subscription is $80. Off peak $50.
Will i join?
YES YES YES... i enjoyed that first session. I really do not have much time to spare, so the 30 min really flies and suits me bec while i am there my hb pegi masjid pray. then i finish we go home together. Cume i think i spent too much time getting on and off the machines. Since i am vertically challenged, sometime i tak sampai the equipment punye handle la.

The owner said she plans to open an outlet in the west. so west mommies pun bole join.
Sekarang nak sapu minyak my kaki so that tomoro tak sakit sangat. hey what do you know, i still got it.. i thot i will pancit or pengsan...hahhaah

I memang dah expect the worst but when you get the news, its so hard to take it in & believe it.
Tapi, kita hanya boleh merancang. Kita hanya boleh berdoa. Hanya Allah yang memiliki kekuasaan & pengetahuan yang tiada batasan. Dia yg Maha pengasih lagi penyayang.
Semoga roh Sabie dicucuri rahmat & harap Sarah sekeluarga diberikan ketabahan.

Nak jadi hero lah tu my bujang! Selalunya, before we go out, I will sit them down & brief them lah: explain kita nak pergi mana, what is expected of them behaviour, their penance kalau misbehave etc. They are also aware of road rules ie: no running by roadside, holding hands etc
Semalam pasal keluar rumah in a state of rush, tak, I pun tak brief lah. Memang I so peng semalam...Yg lagi 3 tu tengok kan ajelah. But they were well-behaved pasal si abang dah 'test' my patience kan. Aiyoh boleh jadi gila. Ada-ada aje tau budak-budak ni. Satu hari si kakak, lepas tu si dua-beradik tu.
Eh, you pun suka panjat-panjat...tak sangka..heheh! Where do you take your kids rock climbing? Dulu there is a place at Great World ada this rock climbing for kids. I think they shut it down already now...
At Toa Payoh the other day, ada a stand jual all these single bedsheets frm Barney to Strawberry Shortcake etc. Ada Cars punya jugak. Murah jugak lah, pillow cases abt $3-$5 i think. The bedsheet tak salah either $9.90 or $12.90
Nanti petang on my way to get my DD, I go check & SMS you kalau the stand masih ada. Pasal these stands tak permanent lah. Always changing.

actually I love to have more kids but MENTALLY, physically & financially won't be able to cope...hahahaa just like last night, don't know apa kena ngan 'lil stalker.. cried in the middle of the night like nak rak gitu... only felt asleep in my arm ard 1am gitu.. aarrrgggghhh... but kids can be cute with their actics & all are forgiven ... dia laa racun dia laa penawar.. abt my condition, I guess its getting better with age..

After reading all abt Sabie,I feel that I should appreciate my son more gitu..Not that I tak la all these while..but u all know anak lelaki..he can REALLY get on my nerves EVERY SINGLE DAY! A day without any scolding tak sah tau..At the end of the day, I'll be very drained even to look back and tell myself how wonderful my son is..Really sad not to realise when saat2 I marah dia,jentik dia..isshhh I sound like mak tiri pulak! Tapi betul la..kata org once a child passes his 2nd yr, things will be alright..But mine, another 2 more months reaching 3, masih sama!! I think I should stop complaining and back to where I started, Sabie's story has made me realise that every child is a gift.

I think its a good practise to actually brief everytime nak keluar..Its a way to discipline them. I think I will also do it to my son bila dah besar sikit..

i used to work in MOE as a School Administrator, so i can help you answer eh...
yes, even if you volunteer no guarantees you will get a place, esp for popular schs. cause it depends at what Phase the balloting has to be done. if the balloting is at the phase for volunteers, and let's say there are only 10 places left and a total of 20 volunteers are eligible, then balloting will have to take place and only 10 kids dapat masuk lah.

yes, even if you volunteer no guarantees you will get a place, esp for popular schs. cause it depends at what Phase the balloting has to be done. if the balloting is at the phase for volunteers, and let's say there are only 10 places left and a total of 20 volunteers are eligible, then balloting will have to take place and only 10 kids dapat masuk lah.
