By the way ladies.. i dah jumpa kedai baju yg jual baju newborn yg murah at Jurong East. I pergi pasar Jurong West takder.. then i saw at Jurong East central. And they have 4 for $10. Baru sekarang aku excited nk shop for the little boy. Tomorrow im turning 7 months... cepat seh..

heehee i like teaching tuition! one on one with children... and it's not as stressful as working with a boss.. and if you teach properly and diligently usually the results will show and the parents will be thankful!

Sure yr mom can cook if she sanggup, but do factor in duit penat & some upah too. Peg it against a catering company, just maybe a bit lower.

I dah check-out the market, the thing is dorang pilih lauk tapi bahan yg mahal2.. my mum ok . Cuma my dad bising. heheh

I nak share joy.. smlm i pergi beli baju baby.. and my HB belikan kasut baru for me. The old one dah 4 tahun tak tukar... Me so happy.. tu jer.

Where I work, semua kena go thru the proper channels. No such thing as suruh mak dek tu ke mak dek ni ke masakkan. All through catering. Hmmm...

I tot of asking $12/head. Mahal ker acceptable eh...

SD, Dia suruh masak for 120 pax. Anyway, i survey the last few company yg kita engaged for catering.. dorang pun pay about $12 tapi dishes ada 4 atau 5 jer.

anyway bonda... wah banyaknya makanan on the menu...12/head i think should be reasonable.. for the amount of food...

i remember last time whenever got office gathering or anything we'd pay 10/head for not that much food.. maybe 6/7 types only tau..

kalau tak, actually menu dia ada 'ADDITIONAL' of the following :
1) Black Pepper Prawn
2) Satay Goreng (Ayam/Mutton)
3) Briyani
4) Fruit Cocktail...

abih bila ckp $18 per head..dorang terus ckp..

"Anyway, this is to feed the workers, so let's take the cheapest one"...
 
why ah cina so lokek duittttttttttttt....buat geram ajerr... anyway bonda really la.. for ur menu... they really untung tau... 12 is very cheap for that kind of menu...

oh and i tak boleh tahan rumah messy or kotor or dusty kalau tak i naik gila.. then all my relatives all terpekik at me suruh relax.. but i take breaks la.. like now! hahaha sambil rebus dhal and kambing (nyari masak dalcha) i can rest for a while at least... then when i give birth my mother in law flying in from mauritius to take care of me heehee.. tapi tak lama lah.. one month cukup.. i dont want lama lama.. heehee

i agree with athlete. Sambal sotong pon leceh nak masak. Must rendam the sotong with abuchang etc. Sebab tu lah I tak jadi tukang masak. I'll take 3 days to prepare all the menu you mentioned.

anyway actually right.. my husband has a step mom and his real mom la.. both my MIL kan.. diorang baik sangat ah.. between me and them kan.. diorang takut aku lagik ada.. hahahah... they're very harmless la which also means i'm very lucky la cos whenever i'm in mauritius they do everything and don't allow me to do a single thing but relax.. my father in law also macam member pasal both me and him support man yoo hee.. but just to make sure things stay the same.. thats why i dont want my mil to stay for too long heeheehee... and if she says she wnats to stay for long... aku yang balik mauritius pulak hahaha...

anyway good luck for the cooking... nasib ur mom got supportive family members to help...

smalldreams, hee entahla what is their version of confinement lol... i never ask.. but the one that is coming to take care of me is my husband's real mom.. and she's so timid and gentle.. i think(and hope) she won't start imposing rules and regulations on me lol...
 
hi notty! hee pasal my mom from young not in the picture... so from young la dah buat kerja rumah masak... abeh nyari my dad mintak dalcha.. which my husband loves haha... so dalcha it is! hee my husband ni memang mulut melayu.. sambal belachan semua bedal hee...
