I wish I could, but what to do, just work lor, can't imagine not having my own $$!

I wish I could take a lot of leave too! My place is quite flexible lah abt taking leave, cuma I'll be going on maternity leave, jadi mcm tak sedap if i take leave.

It's good that yr place doesn't have casual employment scheme. Many of my new colleagues are subjected to that for the 1st 6 mths. MC pun takde. So sad.

kat sini i tgk makin lama makin banyak i have to do and have to join so many committees even though i ni cuma cso je.
i tot datang sini sekadar buat admin je.
like my hubby said this is just a job to pass my time, not a career.
motive in taking up this job pun so that i have time to build my sidelines and plan for my main future plan.
if kena do more work then dah defeat the purpose.

oh yah..i pernah dengar jugak pasal casual employment tu.
if thats offered to me of cos i wont accept..manalah tau i kena take leave cos i ni ada anak..kalau masih single ok jugaklah..

Lynzi, best lah pakai system amik leave. Tak payah tgk and explain to boss about your leave. Just a click of a button for approval... Syiok.

FYI, Maya is having high fever since yesterday. Now still very weak.. Tadi i baru call dia.. then she was like merengek-rengek and calling Mummy Mummy.... aiyoh.. aku tak boleh kerja ah... Mcm nak balik jer... haiz..

Kesiannya Maya sakit. Yr mom jaga kan? Sponge all the hot spots k.. it's not easy to deal with a sick child but insyA-Allah it will be over soon and she'll be up in the pink of health.

kalau i...i prefer to be a SAHM...look after my kids,hub n rumah tangga sepenuh mase....if money is not an issue 2 the family....

my tasks2...? Tengah buat laa ni... My office is so empty, i rasa kalau i keluar kejap pon orang tak perasan. tapi apa kan daya..duty calls. I intend to leave half day, coz my nose is still runny. Social responsibility lah...patut sakit2 mana leh datang kerja. It's just too bad I have difficulty logging on to my network from my own home.

I agree, budak kalau sakit, hati kita susah nak focus at work. Takpe, doakan. Doa is very important. Insya-Allah, budak sakit pun sebab it'll make them stronger.

now me and hubby and 2 frens ada long term biz plan that will only take off early 2011.
meanwhile im building up my online biz and investing in some passive income..hopefully will see the fruits soon as the economy and foreign currency is picking up.</font>

I dah buat muka sedih to my colleague.. but really when i hear Maya merengek.. issh... aku nak kerja dah tak bleh focus. I know my mum is there, but to ask her to totally concentrate of Maya due to her fever, like sponging her, then cuddling with her.. making her feel better.. all that .. only a mother can do it with all her heart.

Thanks to my colleague, she said i can go off afternoon..

i ni bored kalau i disuruh buat keje lebih yg bukan meant for me.
kat sini melampau..dorang nampak mentang2 lah orang ni boleh buat keje..cepat tangkap..jadi even i cso ni kena buat keje mxo..bingit!
bila i bising sikit..dorang said saper suruh ppl like me yg ada higher qualification ni pegi apply keje yg meant for n level or ite cert ni..geramsss.
orang kat sini pulak pelik..some of them ms powerpoint pun tak tau..even excel pun tak tau buat..sedangkan semua pangkat tinggi2 and gaji besar2..</font>

true, dependable colleagues make all the difference! Without them, memang I dah lama berambs drp tempat ni. But then again, my job ni ada banyak pull factors - boleh work from home, flexible time off, etc. These are things I can't let go off for now.

Tis week my activities packed, so da lama ku tak masuk. Besides gathering for kids and mak bapak budak, my dad also pat hospital. Nanti also going off to visit him. Im super duper tired!! Lucky, hb took 2days off ytd and today.

I'm at home also... took leave today (i have to work 1 saturday a month). Jap lagi nak pergi wedding...can'tbelieve it sekarang ramai orang suka buat majlis time syawal. Then to my colleague's place for an open house.


You pun work 1/2 day je kan?

Think now macam trend lah. My mom pun ada jemputan last week, and that was only the first week of raya! This week I ada jemputan, next week pun. Sighs, tak leh rilek2 seh..hehe
 
Ok la juga tu bole dapat makan nasi minyak. Kan best open house makan lauk raya, jemputan makan nasi minyak lol

Smalldreams i saw ur previous post your work seems very flexible bole flexible time off, work frm home. Is that applicable to other departments also?. Its rely very help especially to mothers kan.

ya I guess it's 2 in one when you have weddings during syawal.

re flexi work tu, it depends on the nature of work jugak. for me, i can take my work home, remain contactable and submit my work on the expected date. tapi kalau those working as corporate support officers etc, susah sikit lah nak work from home. It also depends on how long you have been in service. usually newcomers jarang dapat this scheme. sekarang pun i tengah waiting for review, whether my bosses kasi i sambung ke tidak. Tapi for now i tak kisah sangat coz i really have a lot of work to clear sbelum i pergi maternity leave insyaAllah

Hb has v gd taste, so i trust himlah.
anyway, i tak kuasa nak deal with contractors.
dia pulak suka, esp the more "ah-beng", the more he likes to deal with.
