You boleh explain that you skip lunch, so maybe he can let you go just till Hari Raya.

pasal balik siang nie, different boss different style u guess. in my previous company, my boss was an indian guy, and he allowed be to go back 30 mins earlier coz i work thru lunch.
now my current company my boss is a muslim lady, tapi dia kata if i want to leave earlier, i come in earlier. dia kata it's "company policy". yang bengang nya tu, my other muslim colleagues boleh plak balik earlier without coming in earlier. hai...pelik.

Aku nie Marketing Admin. So if i say Mktg Admin means doing sales quotation , help market the products, jaga customers, kalau ada sales, process the orders kan.. But kat sini, not only that, i have to process orders, then buat invoice to bill customer, then bila barang dah siap, kena arrange delivery for customer. Kalau overseas kena arrange forwarder, buat B/L, buat commercial invoice, buat packing list, buat delivery order. Then every month, accounts kasi kita statement of accounts to chase customers.
Is this happening in your own company ?

Omnichups / Lynn... By the title of my position you all can roughly see that I'm suppose to do anything pertaining to MARKETING ADMIN. Aku pun create and print product brochures for customers. I create huge posters to be paste around the office. I even create a wall design according to my boss instruction to be painted by our painter. My company is not small.. It's big. Accounts department ada 6 people tau. Logistic ada 1 orang jer but store ada 5 people.

Nie sumer politics orang tua kerepot yg kat accts dept i think. But kat sini orang kerja sampai 30 yrs.. so i think the BIG BOSS dgr kata dorang cos dorang ckp, tak bleh cope.. so push to marketing dept. Which consist of me, and 2 other colleague. Dorang pun bingai tau, cos boss tanyer them whether he should employ more to help them, dorang ckp tak payah.. Tiba masa balak tolak sini... bingit ah

nowadays, we have to be "multi tasks". the title given is no longer important. It will epend on the company. Boss will said of you don't do they can always can someone to replace you. This is realistic unless you want to change job. If you really find over task, find a good time and discuss with your boss. sometime boss don't understand what we are doing...they feel easy task but do not know the process is not so easy.

I hate my job scope cos boss tell me to just do it. But i have great friends. But recently there is this stupid director who is always spotting my small mistake. Even it's not mine, he will talk so loud that people think it's mine. Hmph!
Even the conference room air-con not off after someone used it, he came and ask me.. who use the room, why never off, why like to waste.. then if there are guests waiting in the conference room, he will ask me, who are they, which company, why are they here... stupid seh..
I'm like have got nothing to do with it. Engineers use this room for discussion too. And out of all the girls, he like to ask me all this silly questions. And when i'm on MC, he will ask my colleague, why wati mc, why wati on leave, how long , when will she be back... etc.. And he is NOT my boss.. he is other dept boss !

This stupid director nie, very the kaypoh. You know recently me and my frens received 'anonymous letter' from somebody in this office. They mail the letter using stamp. The letter is typed-out. It says,
Dear Yani and frens...
Please do not use the company cars to run your personal errands. If you need to do so, please ask your manager or boss directly....blah blah etc
Merepek kan.. padahal, we nvr use the company van. Cuma kita use one of our manager car to go canteen to buy food. Other than that, kita pakai kereta our other colleagues. And we suspect si kaypoh nie sorang yg hantar surat layang nie. Merepek kan... He is very evil you know. Last 2 years, he so call employed a supplier. Then just recently, that man was given 24 hrs notice cos he just dun like him. Kesian tau... he is a good man and works hard.

All the directors here is brothers. Then sons are executive directors. Then some managers are frens of family and some workers are frens or relatives. Even our auditor is owned by one of the brothers.
I've been here for 1 year only.
And this 'stupid' director, even when there's guests, he will ask them so many questions in loud tones. And when he talk to his production people, cursing and swearing all the time. Never talked nicely one.. sure shouting all the time.
Patut dia memang kaya giler, but no kids. I guess that the curses of the workers to him.. hahaha..

must pick and choose my outings now.

I knew it. cos I ever work in one local company as a temp stuff, the company same like yours so many relative...and most of them have a company car. Even a store supervior dirve Mescede. That time when i work there is there yearly promotion and increment time. and the result out. only relatives were promoted. not related one only get less than S$50 increment...happen that I work with there is a girl whom are not related find so unfair then think of resign.... After I left that lady resign and this company call me and ask if I want to work for them. But I rejected find excuse that that area is every diffcult to find muslim food... they even offer me that the will buy mircowave for me to use... but still rejected by me..hihii...lucky i didn't work there....

Mira, hmm.. i have nvr werk in related company like this.. All the directors are brothers and their pattern are all the same. Loud and say things without thinking. Pay wise, yes, it's the same thing like yours.
I terfikir nak quit, but then i'm waiting for my colleague to give birth in Dec. Then when she come back in March, i will tender in May/June. Tu pun tgk keadaan lah. Cos my colleague said every chinese new year got increment. We see abt it lah. If dun hv then i say good bye ! Now i'm think of doing HR course. I think HR is better. What do you guyes think?
