Just to share, just the other day, i bilang my mum that this year i nak tolong dia masak for raya cos i nak take down her secret recipe. Cos all my aunties, kalau dtg raya, mesti tapao lauk for their houses. Padahal my mum is adik tau. Yg tua2 dah dtg dulu to visit us cos nak tapao lauk. Then my aunties ask me whether i know how to cook whatever my mum knows.. i tanyer kenapa? Dorang ckp, besok2 kalau mak kau dah takder, the food still tastes like my mum's...So my mum reply to me when i said i want to learn is... "Kenapa nak belajar ? Kau takut aku mati eh ? Kau takut tak dpt makan makanan sedap lagi eh..." Sigh* ada2 ajer lah my mum.

sama lah dgn my mom, dia yg paling tua.. so lauk pauk raya, mesti dia yg masak.. adek beradek yg lain.. ada tak masak, ada buat lodeh/lontong je.. ketupat rendang semua my mom yg masak.. both me and my sis tiap2 tahun mesti tolong masak..

tapi aku start tolong after married only. sebelum kahwin, pemalas tau makan je..

bila dah kahwin, baru teringat.. klu mak aku dah takde siapa lagi yg nak masakkan.. terpaksa lah belajar.</font>

pasal masak lauk raya nie, memang time anak dara dulu lah dah kena cooking duty, kan. but never really appreciate it. mak suruh kopek bawang, kopek. mak suruh siang ayam, siang.

since i got married, petang raya tu balik jugak rumah mak tolong mak masak, sebab lepas tu nak bungkus bawak balik my house. hehehe. tak kan nak masak at my house, yang makan dua orang, yang berserak dia tak sanggup kemas. : )
