every week to taklah.... leave tak sebanyak tu.
after work pun bleh go dating....
plan, nak gi airport. but mcm malas gitu....
so mebe just marina/suntec ajer lah...
asked Mika to choose between Secret Recipe and CoffeeBean, he chose secret recipe.
So Secret Recipe Marina it will be then....

so, whenever budget mengizinkan, i'd sewa keta & bring her out...
pasar geylang, jemputan, mana2 lah....

Lynn, we do go out on dates w/o the kids. When my 1st was still younger till he was about 1+, kita tak make time for each other and we find our relationship deteriorating. After that, we find time to go out after work and during sch holidays. Jarang dating on weekends pasal tu my mom's off days.

MIL expect us to reach home by 6pm which memang pun kita klu tak singgah mana.. memang sampai rumah kul 6. unless i/hb had to werk late, we have to inform her..
but she dont like klu kita singgah jln2 after werk. pada dia, after 6pm.. it our responsibility to take over naufal..</font>

My mum is like your MIL.
She look after my boy, but she banyak sangat program.
Becos my work time is flexible, everyday banyak soalan... "kerja kul berapa, balik kul berapa..."
Its good enough that I can manage to schedule my work around her activities and holidays...
And of cos nights and weekends are her days off too.
Sigh...

you adalah anak menantu mithali. takpe, sabar aje. The only way is if you guys go on outings together with naufal. Or, are your parents available to jaga Naufal kejap on weekends ke, while you & yr hubby catch a show or go for a quick lunch?
For me, my mom pon cam Shahlynn's mom. I think she has made a sacrifice by quitting her job to help with Adam. So each time I tak kerja, for sure Adam will be with us.
I can't tompang Adam with my MIL coz kat sana pon dah ada 3 budak. Plus, nanti yang jaga will be my MIL's maid. my MIL's maid is good, tapi there's a 4 yr old there who is very attention seeking. And Adam punye notty, for sure the maid / MIL will just give in to his demands.
I have a cousin in law who loves kids and Adam pun suka dgn dia jugak. Tapi I belum ready lah nak mintak dia jaga Adam even if it's only 2-3 hrs. Entah eh, I'd rather spend time with him walau camner stifled pon I feel.</font>

I pernah baca somewhere, some moms look after each others' kids and when they need some time, their friends take over and help with the babysitting.
Tapi of course, only if you're truly comfortable with this situation. OR if you can cope with 2 babies/ 3 toddlers etc

There was a Fisher price fair last weekend at Raffles City robinsons! I saw the jumperoo last week, about $250++ - sorry tak ingat brapa. Why dun u call/google to check if the fair is still on? I doubt expo sales ada jual benda baru cam jumperoo</font>

actually kat sini pun boleh buat gitu.
dat is, IF both parties are comfortable with the arrangements.
tapi kita nie kadang2, tak sampai hati lah, nak impose such arrangements... takut inconvenient kan orang lain...
& kadang2, budak yg taknak...
once, my malay neighbour tumpangkan anak kecik dia @ my place, while her maid pergi pasar bawak payung to fetch her..
tu, nasib baik from my gate, bleh nampak her door. budak tu asyik2, mama! mama! mama!
nie, kita tinggalkan budak for 3hours at least, dah jadi lain cerita nanti

Ouh, you saw that? U can try Robinsons Expo lah tapi I don't think dorang ada jual jumperoo. How about the baby hypermart?
Or u could rent one. Jumperoo pun tak boleh simpan till budak besar sangat kan? I plan to rent an exersaucer je for my 2nd one insya-Allah.
I bot a 2nd hand exersaucer for my son, and sold it off later coz couldn't tahan the clutter!

I think yr mom's place is a great alternative / opportunity for you. You could try familiarising him there again. After all tu kan nenek dia sendiri. Or distract him with a toy while you leave. Nanti dia dah pergi childcare pun that'll happen - he'll need to learn that you'll be back later. And you can trust yr own mom rite, nothing to worry insya-Allah</font>
