No lah, its not income derived from singapore mah ... and Sg gahmen dun tax on prize winnings, not like US.

kalau tak, apek and nyonya menang lottery pun kena tax.

But then better read the fine prints on the contract carefully just to be sure.

I still remember last time i watched such house makeover thing on suria.
also by some ID lah, they redid the whole house...
the tuan rumah is cik jamilah... then dorang tunjuk dia gambar rumah dia sikit sikit jer
so she tak sabar.. she tried to have a sneak peep at her house..
and the production crew had to kejar her
the host was masturah ahmad

but that cik jamilah is very entertaining lah.
so if u want to be selected u have to show that u make "good tv".. tak boleh malu malu...
 
I am inclined to think the reno itself is winning..

much depends on how they structure the contract, if its along the lines of a competition.

after the reno then u make appearances and cakap "bagos ID nie, puas hati.. blah blah blah.." that can be construed as endorsement.

if am structuring the contract .... but thats trade secrets.. hehhe

n i got to know kan...dunno how true...yur house will be like a show unit...kalau orang nak tengok yur flat, u tak leh tolak...dat is part of the terms n conditions....dat is y nora cakap read n understand the fine lines....
