personally i think u shd have ur own place instead of combine with your parents
bukan ape, ur boys will need their space
and so will ur siblings who are still growing.
memang isu maid/childcare/shuttling is very membingitkan,
but we will have to tackle it sooner or later
nothing's perfect
like shalynn say, u may lose money but u may gain the convenience and peace of mind (which money cannot buy)

Last time my husband oso... more den 28 years stay bukit merah, sooo happy, coz town area. kena pindah bukit panjang, d face sooo long. after a year, he said, Not as bad as i thot...

Reali taking things into consideration here. It may be too long for me to decide but having it prepared, I thnk it's worth cos ikutkan hati..mmng tk nk pindah randah. I'll try to persuade dad again to see if he has simmer down. Skrng pon, most wknds my prnts gi belajar...nid to find e rite time to speak to him...perhaps over a coffee sessions will help. If he still insist to keep his house, I would left with no choice.
It's nice to have you gals here to gv and share opinions. At least, I dapat gauge the needs and don'ts.

But one thing I envy you, is that you've got 2 kids and u're still so young! So see, everyone ada bahagian masing2 ...

entah eh, it's just that the north is so far. nak naik MRT, lama baru sampai. in contrast, my mom's place kat paya lebar, only about 5 stops from city hall. hehe. maybe if i drive, i can consider sembawang.
but on second thoughts..no...i still wont...hehehe.. I guess if you memang dah biasa tempat tu, it will be comfy for ya

i baru tinggal sembawang 5 yrs. But i learnt to adapt la. All my life i tinggal at holland village area... now that is one super convenient place!
for me, if u tell me to stay at east area, my reaction would be... hmmm... nvm... i just keep it to myself. nanti kena hamput lak dgn east mummies!! ahakz!

i tink i dah biasa pindah pindah...so mana mana pon sama jerr...jus that the memories u leave behind....perit nak tinggalkan....dulu born kat toa payoh....then move to jurong.....then move to melaka.....then kallang bahru....then yishun...then khatib.....then jurong extension...then admiralty....then khatib...then amk....soon sembawang...then woodlands/admiralty

aku ru makan pat situ on Friday. Food dier so-so ler. then tempat quite sempit. maybe kalo pi ramai2 dok yg pat meja bulat tu maybe better. but the part yg order sendiri tu ade ngeri sikit. haha.. main klik2 ajer...

dia macam seoul garden kan? cuma pakai hot kimchi. I like it, tapi sayang lah, tak aman sangat makan with a little kiddo around..
I got it, and i think i accepted it already. shopping sakan? sekali sekala shop kat luar, cam best gitu. if not, asik shop online thru here aje. tu baru berhantu....
$57 is amazing! congrats! Mine hovers around $100 to $200..ni dryer punye
