now is the best time to buy but not to Sell...and kalau u talking about Tampines...fuiyoo da macam land of gold seh...estate price in Tampines are quite steep...

Alo mommies!
Today i cooked asam pedas, tadi dah early lunch at 10 am. Now i'm at my mom's place, abt to eat Her asam pedas - which is 100X nicer than mine for sure!
I just got back from Plaza SIng ni... with adam & my mom. Bought a pair of thomas crocs for him...heart pain ah coz it's definitely more ex than BP. tapi tutup mata, beli aje lah...coz my hub lost one side of his crocs a few weeks ago...
and my own crocs also got stolen a few days ago! Ni baru order from BP. ibu punye crocs wait lah... anak punye beli dulu..hehe...
Pas tu gi daiso beli knick knacks...fun betul!

True enuf Tamp is ex even at the current market which is going low.
I've been waiting for the day my dad agreed to sell his Tamp hse and move in with us at Smbwng bt I do nt reali noe why e sudden change of his tots. Hub kata, adakan maid kalau terdesak and to have a nanny arnd Smbwng area...we hv no contacts to know which is e reliable ones. Kalau bole, I tk nk ada kan maid since my anak masih kecil kecuali ada orng tua dlm rumah.
I cn only sell early nx yr if reali I need to for kids sake...so lost with all...

my MIL is quite good at all these housing stuff. dulu before this economic downturn, my hubby just casually told her that he wanted to buy our friend's house smack kat depan Tamp Mall - at $600k, and my MIL advised him not to. coz u'll NEVER be able to sell it again at that price.
Think CPF - we won't want to top up cash for the flat once CPF has been wiped clean.
But if u find something reasonably priced, insya-Allah tu rezeki you, then why not? Banyak berdoa- never know something good might come yr way

I dun mind being a northern but after noeing more of his family backgrnd, susah. It doesnt do us good too cos it incurred more $$$ on us than MIL. Baik adakan maid dari kena chauffer back and fro early morning etc when they can sleep in peace kan?

do your calculations again....
If you sell ur house @ a lost now, and u have to upgrade. meaning, more money lost.
but, u compare against the amt of money you saved in long term, dat is, rumah u takyah jadi OPH, ur parents nearby, kerja dekat, etc...
the amt u lost is nothing compared to the conveniences u gained.

do not make a hasty decision....cari betul2 ...n do yur calculations ....insyallah u will get a house within yur budget....Lucky for me managed to get a 5 room flat @ $270K....

take ur time to think things tru...maybe kalau stay on in sembawang u can look at nanny/maid/childcare??
it seems dat financially ur thinking of staying put in sembawang....but emotionally nak ur parents jaga, u wud move to tamp....take ur time to discuss w ur hub...kekadang kita pikir sorang sorang kan makin keliru n more hedache...dont take a day or 2 to think...maybe put on paper the pros n cons....then discuss again...
me n hub initially nak my mil jaga...she also yg offer..skali bila dah jual umah n all...back out...ada limit how many days n hours can take care...aiyoh....then nak bring along my mum...but sad to say...tak kesampaian.....we can plan but it may not be to wat we want....

decide really good..this house finanvcial thinggy is serious and long run..not 1 day 2 days settle house loan..
but true stay near mum plc bettr...during i work i was like you weekends bring kids back sunday send back..i know how you feel need be near them....sigh thats the reason why i quit and why i not yet look for work..
be patience girl..but i do pray thingz go your way...

my fren give birth ard july.....her first is boy dah 1yr plus.....now got girl pulak....she also baru amik maid..
actually in laws in woodlands n her parents in yishun...in laws jaga weekdays n her own can jaga weekends as and when the couple need couple time...but took maid to lessen the parents burden...alhamdulillah so far the maid i pon suka...pandai masak all...later wen i move in w them i have to temankan/jaga the maid cos she will leave the maid n son w me...
