wt e govt trying to do for the citizen is gd helping them get job.. tp kkdg ada workers yg simply malas nak shorter hrs & btr pay kan? so its up to individual
another thing i tink they shld cut less ERP, also revise the food, groceries prices.. altho smua bekerja skg tp still our staple food are soo ex seh.. how to afford a gd food for family? thats e main problem now.. frommy POV.. they cutting ppls pay tp our expenditures smua nya naik, naik.. minyak still naik, beras still naik, can food still naik.. hmm</font>

You shd drop at the <font color="ff0000">7th</font> (bec not counting the interchange itself) bus stop for all the above services.
Behind that bus stop, are very colorful terrace houses,
Walk straight in.. not far to find No. 35.
(there's a few other buses but i not familiar)
By car/ taxi:
Enter via Old Tampines Road
At the entrance turn left, go straight to find No. 35
If you enter by the other entrance at New Loyang Link (thr's a Shell petrol station, u have to jalan satu kampung to find my place)

entahlah ehhh....keluar kat papers camtu..yg besar besar jerr....hopefully lahh..kalau tak buang masa they increase slightly last yr if to take back again....

No wonder my dad have been calling me to reach home by 2pm but in e end, I can only managed to be there at 3.30pm. So much of food spread on the table. All cooked by mom. Mee soto, chendol, ayam goreng, prawn fritters, fishballs, birthday cakes, marble cake and fruit jellies...

it makes sense for civil servants (semut2 cam i ni) tu get a paycut too, sebab kita punye pay is linked to GDP. Jadi kalau GDP s'pore turun, mesti ler kita punye pay pon kena turun. I guess that just means, less sprees & lower expenditure for me.
Just wondering, kalau gaji kita kena potong, should allowance untuk mak/bapak kita pun kene potong jugak eh?

memang apa yang u suggest tu, ialah apa yang orang lain pon fikirkan. Tapi s'pura ni dah berkembang terlalu pesat giler. It's tough to slow down already.... what to do. Tengok lah our education system. Budak masok P1 tak tau spell, habis...
Mebbe this economic downturn is a good time for us to sit back & reflect..... goodbye frivolous shopping.....

For me even though gaji reduced tak sampai hati to reduce allowance for my mum (kesian dia hari2 have to think of what to cook for us) - will give as usual *IDEA - ask hubby to top up a bit for the difference in pay*

Insya Allah..my parent's allowance would not be affected..unless i tak cukup utk uruskan my monthly commitments then I got no choice..
Then again, I will inform my mom should it arise..i wont senyap2 tolak dia $ yg kurang tu..i felt bad if i didnt let her know and understand my situation..

Thanks for yr sharing. I agree, I pon rasa cam tak mo cut off the allowances for both my parents. After all my mom made a big sacrifice and quit to take care of Adam. Guess I just have to cut down my expenses on other area, eg, groceries, taxis & benda merepek meraban drp BP & sprees...

Aiseh, buat i paiseh je you ni. Insya-Allah hopefully... tapi si Adam tu, bukannya paham apa2 sekarang....so notty at times, kata dia, kata dia jugak. Now he got a habit of bringing a toy everywhere he goes. Pagi nak gi my mom's house, bawak toy; malam nak balik rumah kita, bawak toy lain...haiz budak budak....

Fayaa pun mesti bawak toy everywhere she goes - even to my mum's place everyday sampai dah full her toy bin at my mum's house. Kat rumah lagi, full of her things all over my house.

i eva told my mom of her allowance cut...
den, wif her muka kesian she said, "kau kasi ajerlah braper yg kau mampu... tak kisah..."
and i went "heh? yyiiipppppppppeeeeeee!" and gelek depan her.... hahahah!
cukup bulan, i passed her 100 and say, "nie jer mampu, mak!"
after she said thank you, i went, "eleeeehhhhh... kesian plak! nah nie lagi!" and laugh at her...
and told her, no allowance cut! eksyen jer tu!
