tt one reason I rather not work fulltime. in the end, seems like I yg kena bayar bills. dun just talk abt hubby, orang lain pun target I.then if dun take care kids/kids dun turn out rite, I juga kena marah nanti. just my 2 cents

but as for me, i've been financially independent for too long. tak reti mintak2.

as much as i harbour hope to be a stay at home mom one day, Insya Allah, i still cant imagine how its gonna be like to ask hubby for poket money..

Used to be hub but we've made some agreements last month. SP bills, groceries and mum's allowance for taking care of our sons will be under me. Car, Bike, Petrol, Insurance, Kids neccesities and schools will be under him.

This is to make a fair wise decision btw us though in the first place MIL mcm nt agreeable. I told him, our salary -- we managed not his mom cos dia tak jaga anak kita and tak berhak tahu hw much we spend mthly and gv my mom etc..

Super sensitive issue!!!

at one point, i settled
handphoneS, homephone,
Town Council, PUB,
InsuranceS, groceries,
mom's allowance &amp; all basic necessities.....
with my take home pay of 1.2K only

Tough? Tell me about it!
 
ermm not that hubby dun pay/help. just take it for granted that I will take care of it. so he can dun focus it.

taliking bout bills my pub bills kena 400++biasala 11org nyer pakai electric,my hubby pay it,yg lain tau pakai jer...i wish i have my own place..

Alhamdulillah.. My husband the kind dat would neva take instalments! Big headache, wor!!!

But i realised one thing... Once, i din give my mom allowance... coz i tight. den, i btol2 rasa cam very tight, tak berkat.
but wen i start giving her again, alhamdulillah... murah rezeki. tak mewah pun, i neva rasa 'burden'...

do you guys face dat?

apa blh buat my ipar yg da kawin is vry selfish nak senang duduk ngan kita,dis house actually belong to my hb dad,tapi my hb da take over,diorang tak ada rasa segan silu tu duk umah ni without contribute in any bills,kadang2 bincang ngan my hb at last kita yg bertekak,so i tink i better let my hb handle..

when u mentioned ur hub 'take over'...is it black n white?....guys nie mostly dorang tak kuasa n ambil all these as 'small' matter....tapi sebagai isteri kite pon 'merase' jugak kan....

benda cam ginie sentitip tapi kan kalau u buat bodoh nanti u n hub akan dibebani dgn pelbagai issues yg in the 1st place not yours.ur PIL tak boleh sound ke abt ur ipar...lagipon anak dia jugak....
 
hmmm talking bout PUB bill....hmmm hubby settle ALL the bills....Memang since kawin dia yg nak setle so ok lah...

My part I will settle all the insurance thingy...coz I yg kiasu about insurance...(from hubby to myself to Anaqi)....

Its true as what Lina says. Maybe your PIL boleh sound kat your brother-in-law at least kalau belum nak pindah pun to make a fair contribution within his means and get his wife to help with the household chores. If dorang asyik2 beli baju baru that means they can well afford to contribute more for the expenses.

Then marketing and groceries siapa yang bayar?
 
Household bills - my hubby pays everythinggggggggg. Kesian dia a lot to pay but since he insists I just let it be. He also contributes monthly to my mum for our daily dinner .

My daughter pays for the maid and I only pay for Starhub cable vision and internet subscription monthly.

last time wen both werk we share burden together, we tak tengok saper bring in more or less cos all the money we lump together and pay off watever we need to and then duit blanja n savings divided equally....no more or less for whoever...
now abt the same also...gaji masuk, bills settle then hub will do accounts n i will pay...blanja all from same acct..
in future also plan to do same thing...but hub oready say make sure we both have personal savings for "emergency"...

Pau Goreng Sambal/Kacang,Yue Char Kuay, Epok2 Sadin/Ayam/Daging,Pie Ayam/Daging,Pizza, Keropok Lekor huh at this shop best sedappp....

My groceries slalunya kalau nak beli sayur2..ikan kering...and ulam2 @ Pasar Tani (Sblah Stadium larkin) The rest at Giant yang Opp Angsana...

So far da 2 kali pegi on Sat morning...ard 7 kluar rumah traffic ok...juz nice...masuk go Pasar Tani..then breakfast by 10 Giant da buka

Dulu pun kita selalu pegi on Sat morning then at one point of time selalu traffic jam like mad dah tak pegi sampai sekarang.

k my ils ni entah eh,da pernah sound tapi byr 1 bulan,then back to normal,bini indon dier pegang semua duit gaji adik ipar i,pernah 1 umah bermasam muka tak talk to each other sampai i lahirkan rizqi,pressure i during pregnancy i dat time,lynn,ada blk n white,tapi bila kita gi hdb nak li umah,kita mesti return our fil cpf b4 we can buy a house,brg2 dapur mostly my pil,kalau nak mkn sendiri,kita li sendiri,tapi bila simpan dlm freezer,bila nak mkn,mkn 2 da takde...

tu untuk barang2 kering &amp; frozens.

sayur, daging &amp; ayam, my husband pi pasar @ bangkit jer. I will prepare the list, he does the buying &amp; paying.
i kat rumah siapkan rencah, dia balik terus masak.
