i pay with cheque.
a week later surat datang, collect from lavender...

u can download the application form online &amp; just post.

Passport can also be applied online, then you just go there for collection when ready. Senang and saves time. For payment you can just provide your credit card no.

Just go to the bank where you have an account and tell them you want to apply for cheque book facilities. They will give you a cheque book on the spot after the documentation is completed.

u ada account with POSB... u apply current account. but before dat, u practice ur signature.
coz if ur signature tak consistent, some bank officers tak approve.

anyway, u can get dat book over the counter...
For POSB, i tahu, u can have $0 in dat account, so long ur savings ada duit... coz if current account takder duit, dey can access to your savings account.

i got mine 12years ago. now with ibanking, i dah tak sentuh dat chequebook.
saper2 yg request, usually immediate family members, i just kasi &amp; they trf cash into my account, and issue.
but now, i think u kena deposit $500 to open account...

once u dah bukak current account, u must maintain $500 oer mth in dat account... if not, u kena $2 service charge
 
my hub have acct in both posb n ocbc...but we plan to put our profits in ocbc thats also to pay for reno...so since my acct in ocbc is saving ...can apply for cheque bk? ke nak kena change to current acct???

citibank eh....hubby skarang ngah "bank crazy" he wants to open up 1 more acct! lerr.....dah ader posb then ocbs then now he's thinking of maybank....i was telling him abt not putting all ur eggs into 1 basket...as in insurance that kinda thing...skali he opens up this xtra acct....n another one/two soon.......
but im not sure abt maybank eh...bagus ke simpan duit kat situ?

If u travel a lot in Msia, its good to have Maybank Credit card....my hb use it as emergency only kalau anything in msia

But for Saving account, MB no NETS facilities...but u can draw cash with Msian ATM in Ringgit currency</font>

but i dah let go of the card.
the best thing abt maybank, is wen u in mesia, and need cash. just tit tit tit.... dapat duit.
but exchange rate nyer, no good. better tukar @ money changer. den again, dah kat sana, mana nak carik money changer kan?

so u can keep ur card at home, and ur savings save.

musim ehh... tadi kat PD kelakar jugak, ada satu budak ni dah balik, sekali tu the mother took her back to the clinic counter &amp; asked the recep to tell her personally that she couldnt go to sch today. Dah suka sangat sekolah lahtu...haha

My boy tadi, walaupun sakit, happy sangat main slide many times, swing, etc. Macam orang tak sakit. Tapi bila dah balik, aduh...manja! I think he macam serik kena tinggal dgn I at his nenek's place. Very attached to me after spending 2 weeks, then long weekends with me for past 1 mth.

That's an advantage of Maybank, tapi i think credit would suffice. If not, there'll be no limit, $$ terlalu senang nak keluar...ehhe
