WOW... This thread is so long... penat i baca seh, baru few days tak jengguk dah lost track. hehehe
from the outing till wars with hubby.
Klu my hubby pulak, dia tak berapa minat sgt dgn PSP, tapi gila tgk soccer. sampaikan 2am punya match pun dia sanggup bangun. but no complain coz at nite dia yg jaga bb or bangun when bb cries. My shift start early in the morning and after work. hehehehe

ni yg pening, over the weekend tukar puting for my boy's bottles, then realise si avent teats da lain design!!! so my boy tak nak minum, the new design got a slight potrusion on the tip.. i was thinking of slicing it of with razor blade, tak tau pulak ape purpose of the design. anyone got the same problem?

yesterday rase penat tak terhingga... first time kena jage my boy all by myself bec my mom went to kl to watch Anugerah Planet thing and hb is overseas from sunday nite. altho my maid is around but i tak suke leave my boy with him unsupervised... sampai mandi depan pintu toilet i semalam so that i can still see my boy...confirm la i tak bole jadi sahm... I was so happy to see my mum back last nite..

and about the hubbies..wah i'm glad to noe tat i'm not the only one facing probs with hubby habit of playing game..hmm sometimes very tired to talk tat i just keep quiet n let him realise things..tapi yg pelik nye hubby ni tak penat2 main game tak tahu bila yg this series of game will finish..menaguk kat depan computer or psp lama2 tak penat ke..tak boring pulak tu..

hai..cakap pasal cafe carousel dgn straits kitchen ni kan, i lebih suka straits kitchen. Pasal juice freeflow dan makan pun sedap-sedap walaupun you boleh dapat makanan tu kat hawker center. Tapi i rasa the baru cafe carousel standard tak berapa bagus. Yang i cuma suka ialah i rasa kalau makan sushi dia, dessert dan seafood yang maanfaat. Yang lain, makanana dia tak seberapa sedap macam kat Straits kitchen.

Sekarang tengah terpinga nak makan sotong hitam...

my hb pun hantu soccer..dia support Arsenal. Ada ke that time tu dia mimpi suruh bangun cos dah kul 3am - to watch bola!! Dua hari mcm tu...padahal tgh nyenyak tdo..As for xbox, kalau dia beli game baru...siaplah, selagi tk habis, selagi tu dia depan tv main xbox! Ada sekali i bilang dia kalau farah kat rumah mak dia baru dia boleh main game. Farah suka off and on the xbox so slalu kena marah. I pun pantang kalau my hb pukul on her palm or marah dia pasal tk ikut ckp...padahal farah blm tahu faham sgt apa kita ckp.

I pun tk suka main comuter games or xbox..i also hope the kids will not be addicted to games.

my hb pun sama, klu dah tgk bola boleh terbawa bawa dlm mimpi. ada ke early morning i kejut bangun dia Pekik "GOL" when i ask apa yg 'Gol' dia boleh balas balik "GOL lah; kan dah kalah". Bila tgkkan so funny seh, next time i nak record or take video. at least ada evidence klu i cerita balik kat dia. hehehe.

Talking about games ni kan. I think it's because we are now leaving in a new era lah. Dulu, mana ade computer games ni semua. I main batu serembat ngan zero point. But frankly speaking, I have many nephews and nieces who are young and already have their own PS2, nintendo games, you name it. Cos, nowadays parents, they don't want their children to be left out. Kesian kan. Sometimes, salah kita ke kalau nak sekat their games? Kalau for the hubbies, itu dah lain citer dah!

2) amend exam paper
3) set higher malay paper
4) mark another 2 sets of worksheets
5) do drama script for competition

Macam nak pengsan this week.
And my house is messy macam tongkang pecah.

my hubby besides playing games on psp and hp, he also like watching soccer (support liverpool and everton) so got double matches to watch, ardent fan of CSI and prison break.
tu belum include his fishing trips and diving trips overseas.
so imagine how much time he has for himself?!?!
kadang2 i fed up.
he gets to do his own things more than i do.
that's why can get very bitter about it especially when i myself am busy and tired.

adam pun ade satu period tu nak suruh bapak dia blikan game boy cos cousins dia sumer ade satu. ade the daddy said okie. i said NO. told him all the disadvantages. now the daddy main game, he told daddy, dun play too much!

Bagus you train your boy sampai boleh teguh daddynya.

I dah ban my hubby from playing xbox or computer in front of the kids. So, he only plays or watches his soccer after we all dah tidur. Tapi, by that time, dia sendiri fall asleep in front of the TV/ comp. Ha ha. Then, when I suruh dia naik tidur, he'll say rugi bayar football channel mahal-mahal & then tak tengok!
For the kids, we allow them to go on the Internet for 1 hour a week, cuma main Playhouse Disney website aje. Selamat their cousins kecik-kecik dah pakai glasses, so I tell my kids kalau play too much comp or watch too much TV, nanti they also must wear. Baru tak jadi dia nak main lama-lama!

It seems all your hubby has the same interest la..GAMES!! Just imagine kalau semua keluar then the mummies bz chatting and attending to the kids while the hubbies playing a gadget on their hands at one corner..HAAAAHHHAA
For me, hubby not into soccer or games..he is so busy with aircraft that he'll be signing off, day in day out..kalau u all datang my house, there's this part of the wall dah mcm cerita Prison Break, where he drew the blueprint of the prisonkan..ah on my walls are my hubby's blueprint of all the aeroplanes!!

Pasal restrictions towards anak2 ni..i have no comment, masing2 punya cara how to lentur anak sendirikan.
For me, my son got his gameboy frm his daddy but with a restriction that he is only allowed to play on weekends. Only when he finishes his homework n only in the car if we were to go out.
We do not want to restrict too much pasal nanti bila tengok org punya barang mcm mengelupur gitu..My son we restricted his toys at one point of time.. so had hard time trying to refrain when he saw budak lain punya toys. Now he only gets toys once a month mcm working adults get their salary.. So it all depends on individual method la..
Jaga anak kan like flying a kite..you wont want to pull the line too strong afraid that it might snap and hurt your own fingers..or letting it go too loose,will end up losing your kite forever..

Eh dah la membebel pulak..oklah nak go for my urut..AT LAST!!!

Honestly speaking, my 6 yr old girl dah melekat cam ayah dia kat ps2 jugak!! Takleh tahan sehh...lagi lagi bila ayah dia bought these violent games n those where they use crude language! Dah cakap dah jangan beli that kinda games..ni tak, ikutkan interest dia ..anak dia pun dah follow suit n play it. Just the other day i dengar my girl siad the word S**T..!!!She said that while playing that game lahh....pengsan aku!!
Rumah i ni kecik so theres no way the kids wont noe the father is playing the game...so hopefully wen we got the new home, he can place the game n computer elsewhere n not withing their sights...
Pasal tak masak ni bila marah works for me pasal, kalau i dah bingit i bawak my kids out n say im going ntuc padahal kita pi makan, he will cont playing games....kita balik perut dah kenyang...but i will buy one cup noodle. So wen he's hungry i just tell him atas meja ada cup noodle....trust me it will not end there...ada war of words but in d end dia jugak pujuk pasal i ni kuat majok...hehehehe...

Just to clarify anyway he escaped from detention centre. the place is not under Prisons but under Internal security depart, ISD. THink the place is not purpose-built, converted from dunno what place. alot of difference in terms of layout. but do renovation also cannot make it. the toilet also not for them, supposed to be for visitors.. the gurkas also another kind the way they react. abit the stupid rite.. haha

have to la..kalau tak my son will be so difficult to maintain if I dont set the rules right..His toys kan once a month..pun i put range tau..he can only buy toys that arent X..ranging frm $3-$10..jadi kalau rosak ke apa..tak wasted kan..hahhahah
So if you nmpk barang dia, cuma gameboy aje yg the most X..he never had any other expensive toys thruout coming to 4 years of his life..bila dia pilih n i said thats expensive, he'll put back n settle for the cheapest ones..

Talking about toys, I've been to acquaintance's hse b4..her son is as the same age as mine..she has one room tutup sampai tak boleh termasuk lagi(pintu pun almost tak boleh buka) pasal 1 bilik tu penuh dgn mainan boy dia..I was so shocked! How can a 4 year old boy has so many toys.. and thats not all..kat dlm bilik the boy pun still ada toys!! OMG!! I dont understand showing love is by giving a child only toys?

ada satu kakak urut yg i kenal, her hb also urutkn lelaki. They both travel to and fro jb. Kalau urut pompuan aje then the wife will come up but the hb lepak at coffeeshop. Kalau nk i can PM u her no. Both hb and wife can urut at the same time... one person $40. Kakak tu can tuam for u too pakai batu mcm hot stone tapi oni 1 stone she use to tuam whole body. She's v good. Every now and thn kalau ur body banyak angin she'll burp v loud..!

orang batam, he'a actually a teacher there but every mth from 10th-15th he will be in sg n urut orang...tapi too bad my hub tak pandai simpan nombor telefon!! hehehehe...but the guy is very good from wat my hub comment lahh...

The International Buffet kat Tampines Mall pun boleh tahan..It has a lot of varieties..frm seafood, bbq,western(like lamb chop etc),chinese & a lot more la. I think thats y its called international buffet agaknya. The place not that posh just like a restaurant.

its the family buffet restaurant.
from the looks i saw in suria macam not bad.
got lunch, hi-tea and also dinner.
not bad tau the price!

The one at TM and sakura at downtown east i dah pegi...hahaha

Hello mummies!

It's finally Thurs...i can't wait for Friday! Then the weekend..then ada Labour day holiday..lepas tu vesak day..hehe sheer happiness. Getting super tired at work.

No plans for travelling this May Day? Where are u ladies having yr high tea? Missed the last thread and belum sempat catch up!

Where is the high tea eh? I might be travelling to KL over the hols... my only chance at a get away coz i didn't block my leave till Jun 08...sighs...

Teat no. 4 tu for how old? Is it very fast? My dd dah 13 mths old, masih pakai no. 2! I takut cepat sangat, nanti dia shiok minum kat botol, dah tak nak bfeed pulak. Is it time to upgrade to no. 3 or no. 4?

You ni macam cakap pasal I aje! I actually have 1 storeroom full of toys only, all in huge Toyogo boxes. Every week rotate, keluarkan 2 boxes. Any kids come to my house, tak nak balik, cos got more kids' stuff than at child care centre! But of course, my 3 kids have just as many books and puzzles too.

High tea
I would love to go and meet you guys, but am celebrating an early Mother's Day with my mother-in-law. Bringing her to Singapore Flyer, makan and shopping. Last yr, tak keluar, cuma invite her over to our place for BBQ cos my dd baru 2 mths old, but she invited all her saudara-mara along. I bingit betul. So, this yr, nak bawak dia satu orang aje keluar, 1 car only.

the puting thing i thot on the packaging ade write for what age group kan, tak sure sangat la but my boy da nak masuk 21mths.. sebab tu pakai no.4, sejak 6 mths plus da tak bf.

anyway, kalau u all pegi KL buat ape ah kat sane, i selalu stuck in the jam and makan makan macam glutton.. tu aje.. ape lagi bole buat kat sane ah..and of course pay super expensive taxi to airport (i dun like long drives, pade i drive to KL tu aje da bole jadi gile, so i really appreciate the cheap flights there)

Mother's day usually we avoid makan kat luar.. too crowded and commercialised la.. so we just gather gather at home adik beradik, potluck and let the kids run around... but will buy gift for mom la, tande appreciation. My MIL pun i will buy gift, susah la nak keluar makan with kids.

Today Friday... Syukur Alhammdulliah...
