Just celebrated my son's 3rd birthday last weekend. Had a chalet at Downtown East. He enjoyed it a lot, especially his Mickey ice cream cake from Swensen's (they have a good range).

i memang dah lama plan to resign if i get a baby as i don't want to lose out on his progress. I did think of just home schooling him and only let him socialise at gym class, enrichment and swimming. But that is still to be considered.

Actually i dah beli barang2 baby siang when i was 5+ months preg, tapi my MIL kata kita beli benda2 merepek. hehe. Kita beli breast pump, stroller, steriliser, bath tub etc2, semua benda yg besar2. Bawak balik barang sampai my father in law bawak turun trolley. Tapi when the baby's born, we realised baju baby tak cukup... hehehe. Sebab tu my MIL kata kita beli benda merepek...

actually u dont have to go out to shop for ur bb cloths. u can always buy online. SMH BP pun boleh tahan. In term of quality and cost i tink it reasonable. I selalu beli my bb punya baju kat sini. just a suggestion.

Tak de lah, I am slowly changing to an organic diet for the family - 1) its good for the kids, chemical free 2) doing my part for the environment. Vegs senang lah nak cari but meat is indeed challenging. We are also into organic clothing...;)

Lynzi, I'm back at my 1st school actually, somewhere in CCK. Resigned 2 years ago. So many changes now. Slowly trying to cope. Pay wise, it's your last drawn but per hourly basis. I'm not sure how they calculate it. In all, a few hundreds short of what I used to get but it's sufficient for myself. And I clock in at 1pm everyday. My husband likes my working hours coz I can still spend time with my kids. No CCA, no duties, no committees dan yang paling penting, no EPMS. Hehe.

Cakap pasal online shopping ni, I pun hantu. When I think my shopping's gone overboard for the month, I will refrain from going into Marketplace. Cold turkey sekejap. Too convenient for my own good.

Shasha, must salute you for making the effort to go organic. If only I have that much will to do it for my family.

I ever tot of going adjunct but seeing that still have to teach full load plus remedials and supplementaries then tak jadi. If can get posted to chij takpe jugak. Neighbourhood schs got lots of probs esp malay families.

My spending always ter-over dis few months. Keep buying at bp and overseas spree...hehe. When hubby asked eh new things again, i will say no this one bought long time ago....haha.

Organic food: Actually to prepare is as per normal lah. Only thing different is the nutrient levels & the fact that there is no pesticide used on the crops. Taste is the same, no difference but appearance, it may look bad ie: black spots etc but that is normal for organic products. Nowadays pun senang to get organic food products, kat NTUC pun ada. Price wise, its better than before because got demand for it these days.

Organic clothing: In SG very limited, I only know at Robinsons & MothersWork. Very expensive. I buy online, ship from Oz, NZ or Turkey. Organic diapers are excellent for babies wt sensitive bottoms

I agree wt you abt susah to keep tab on spending when shopping online. Hubby kata my purchases may be small (ave $30-$50) but the quantity of purchases...mak oi!!

Pasal organic pulak, its me yg started this diet change so want to pass down to kids. I agree that when they are younger its more beneficial for their system but now I'm teaching them abt loving the earth & mother nature so thats why lah..hehe! Me actually now nak try gluten-free food pulak

That's why wanna go early cos i tell u, parking will be a HUGE headache especially wif so many makcik2 coming for a syarahan at the expo.

I have to agree about the evils of online shopping but it is sooooo addictive. And muai. Coz for the same amount, you get more. Masa jadi SAHM, memang selalu I shop online sampaikan during my 2nd pregnancy, semua baju baby beli online. Vbaby lah, Old Navy lah, etc. Lucky hubby pon kasi go head everytime.

sasha, yup.. sometyms when da takde tempat nk cari the tgs i want, i'll also go to Singapore Expats. sume nie under my favourites button. But benda pat situ paling worth it is electrical. Like Tv etc.. sometimes smp less than half price tau. haha..

Shermin, I need tips on toilet training my boy. Nite and day pon blom tau tell us he wants to pee. Kalau big business, kadang he informs us beforehand. Kadang dah halfway buat business baru tell us he wants his potty.
