my son this wed will be taking his 18mths jab. i think its the last dose of the 5 in 1 and also the chicken pox vaccine. did u guys take the chicken pox vaccine thing for ur kids?
For me after jab seesion i sure will give a dose of paracetamol, demam tak demam i kasi jugak... preventive measure. but lately he seems to have allergic reaction to something la, tak tau ape. muke dia ade rashes and sometimes he garuk sampai merah u know. all i can do is give dia makan ubat for allergy yg doctor kasi.

cakap pasal activity kan, kite kat sini ade jugak teringin nak ber activity but susah la nak match time for semue org. so i think yg mane organise small grps amongst themselves lagi successful. nak buat big scale susah sikit.

Btw banyak yg tinggal kat woodlands eh..I stayed there too for about 7-8 yrs..had my wedding there in 2001 kat Blk 722 before I shifted to the east..hmmm kalau lalu sanakan always teringatkan tempat jatuh lagi dikenang kata org.. I miss that place a lot. A lot of nice,beautiful,bad and ugly memories.

Handsome lah your hero. Tapi kesian lah you. Balik keje kena layan your little boy. I think he knows that's the only quality time he's having ngan you and daddy tak. Nowadays children are smart. They know what they want. My daughter only throw "tantrums" on Saturday and Sunday. Sebab Daddy tak keje.

I haven't send my girl for chicken pox vaccine. How much eh kat poly? I thought at first the nurses will advise me when and what to take. But takde pun. Maybe when she reach 2yrs old I nak bagi pneumoccocal.
Btw, another side of a story I nak share. My niece's in K1. So the other day she came back from school, she rushed to the toilet to wash up. We were wondering how come she didn't go to the toilet at school. She said teacher told her no need to wash. EEeeee...kesian niece I. I wonder if this is one of the reason schools ade HFMD.

Whoa...best ah if someone wanna organise. I guez org yg wanna organise tu have to put up a list on who can make it on that day and time. If manage to get 5 mums to gather pun dah cukup bagus.
Juz a suggestion on some initial activities eg. birthday party, cukur rambut, pot luck at our own houses (take turns ah, ada roster...hehe)or we can even organise baby shower for those who are expecting.
Btw, i nak tanya u mummies ah. For the past few nites after his 10pm feeding my son has been sleeping for 5 hours before he wakes up for another feed. Last nite he even slept for 9 hrs. Is that normal??

Lagipun at home its onli me and hubby so wasted if i cook pun. 3 days in a week lak faiq is at my MIL's place so me and hubby have our meals there as well..hehe. Weekend then my hubby will cook while he asked me to keep an eye on my boy.

expo memang ade john little sale. but the outlets itself ade 20% off for all shoppers till 6 feb (maklum la, office i kat sebelah aje john little)
i pegi expo last week, takde banyak bende la, then banyak jual CNY goodies. I memang pegi sane nak beli pillows, so borong la pillows. Kalau JL outlets pun dorang tak carry banyak pillows.
For me during the 20% off storewide sales i selalu belik borong wet wipes, botol, puting,ni semue bende nak pakai kan.
yesterday my boy went for his 18mths jab. so he got the bosster for his 5 in 1 and also vaccinated for chicken pox. so jab on teh arm and one on thigh. He so upset with the thigh punye, balik aje tunjuk nenek and nyotyot dia the plaster on his thigh.
We have our jabs at SGH, PD cakap dah takde jab lagi for him.
so all in all, he has taken the following jabs/immunisations:
5 in 1
rotavirus
pneumococcal
chicken pox
hepatitis (a ke b tak ingat pulak)
as for the costs, i tak ingat la. but i know poly takde pneumococcal, at least that time when my boy pegi. so thats why we decided to go back to SGH, senang la they arrange everything for you, you just come with ur baby.

PS Lynzi: The HALAL food expo was nothing special lah. I went wt high hopes of finding a halal organic meat supplier here but was so disappointed!

I chose not to do the optional vaccinations for my kids. Even those compulsory ones, I chose to get them vaccinated one at a time rather than those 3-in-1, 4-in-1 or 5-in-1 kind of stuff. For me, I dont see the need for them having such vaccinations at the time being.
Also vaccinating is such an indoctrinated part of our culture that we never think to question it. I have yet to find any convincing, accurate evidence that it works (the only children I know in the last 2 years to have measles & chickenpox have been the ones who were vaccinated!) Also what component is there in the training of doctors on researching of vaccinations? Some vaccinations also come from animal parts like cows, pigs etc that we may not even know abt...
But this is just my opinion lah

Tingkat dinner are those meals delivered to your doorstep in those metallic tingkat containers. Now some companies even use micowaveble containers.
Dulu before i had faiq i always cook at home. But now with him i don't have time to cook, much less nak siang2 ikan or ayam. Nowadays at the most pun i wash clothes, dry them, fold them, wipe the floor and tidy the rooms. Itupun terkejar2 cos at times baby needs the attention.
