end up he cnt make it, aku jgk yg dia salahkan.
Haha... So the best will be he choose himself
altho bapak dia nak dia amik chinese cos acc to him,
"race chinese dunno chinese, buat malu" hehs...

tts y, as compared to adam, dia lag sikit
she dun even know her alphabet n numbers!
But then again, each child is an individual la.
As long as she's developing well, pada aku, its ok la.

Zu, aku kalau betul memang nak ajar anak aku buat gitu. Tapi Maya nie aku takut dia find it 'fun', habis aku.. kena label "Mother to gangster"..
Eh, sorry if this is too sensitive.. saper kat sini hantar anak dia to masjid? Cos smlm i fetched Maya from Masjid, i was shocked to see a number of parents yg tak pakai tudung masuk masjid. Even sit at the praying area. I tot tak boleh kan ? Cos last time i belajar kursus rumahtangga kat masjid, ada yg dtg mcm nak pergi Orchard terus kena marah dgn ustaz. And furthermore if u go to Masjid Sultan, even the Ang Mohs are told to wear head scarves and wear long pants.

Zu, aku tak kisah lah kalau orang masjid tak tegur then i guess it's shld be ok. Tapi ada yg bapak2 muda nie..tangan bertatoo.. but some yg ada tatoo is still considerate tau.. masuk masjid pakai long sleeve and turtle neck. Takperlah.. nie masing2 eh..ye lah..orang pun tak tahu, yg orang makcik tudung mcm aku pun pakai tudung tapi cover angkong hello kitty kat leher.

About taking chinese as 2nd language it really depends on the language ability of the child. Some child picks up other language easily while others may not. So for us to decide immediately whether chinese or malay be their mothertongue is a NO-NO la coz I personally feel its best to give a child some kind of exposure,gain some feedbacks frm teachers etc before proceeding. 2nd language is impt to score if aiming for JC. Ive known someone just because her son learns chinese and able to speak well, she proceed with chinese as his 2nd language in primary school. I believe the language itself is difficult as some of my chinese friends still struggling to spell/speak SO her son did so-so in the subject and now he is already in P5 scoring band3-4 for the chinese..like that how PSLE nanti??

Athlete, i am still thinking jugak. Cos tadi i duduk dgn my colleague who is my superior and told her that i am thinking abt quiting, tapi masih dipertimbangkan. Cos, my concern is my boss is the world's number 1 stingy person i've known. Dah 3 tahun, gaji tak naik.. then i heard, next week dorang kasi surat for increment but i only get $60. So i will not get another increment for the next few years tau... then kerja makin bertambah.. no system here. Smlm i ada jugak google jobstreet. Then saw a few jobs in Tuas area which is paying alot more and kerja is admin duties jer. My fren sis is earning $1750 as a receptionist only ! And im earning so much less.

after ur maternity come back to work for 2 weeks
make sure all maternity payments due to u are settled
then kasi letter of resignation
if u plan to resign DO NOT shorten ur maternity leave and come back to office before the 4 mths
since u dun see prospects in this job
then it just serves as a stepping stone for u to gain experiance
once that is achieved - move on
after ur maternity come back to work for 2 weeks
make sure all maternity payments due to u are settled

I read about that too and once again am questioning if I'm shortchanging Adam by not sending him to any enrichment classes. Just a simple nursery. Izzat punya K1 how many hours eh? 3 or 4 hrs?

Thruout my 6+ yrs of being a mother, mata I so berbulu seeing kiasu parents. Being kiasu is ok la anyway for ur child kan but the sikap of wanting all the best sometimes I fikir is it really for child or the parents Yg nak show off?!Bluek!

Sher marah seh... tapi kan betul jugak. Some people just do everything lah. Ada just let their child grow up naturally.. i mean basic knowledge.. extra knowledge mcm big no no cos takut budak tu stress terus jadi robot.

haiz bile naik lift at eastpoint tengok org terkejar kejar hantar their kids to the education center on the top floor

but once i reach banquet.. which is one floor down from the education center.. dah lupe pun .. heheheh

Smlm, lagi sikit aku jadi KS parent. Went to Popular to buy stationeries, then tertengok buku-buku assesment for pre-schoolers.. LOL. I was like "Oh dear..nanti Maya stress"..so terus patah balik. Entah eh, i find that learning the fun and interactive way is better. Kalau duduk pegang crayon/pencil on assesment book for 3 yr old mcm stress plak.
Geram2 habis dia pergi borong ikan/udang kat pasar eh... heheh

my previous employer hold back the last mth of maternity pay
they do it to ensure org comae back to office
if org tak balik office they treat as the notice-in-lieu payment
my current employer dun practice that tho
mebe bec tak banyak org have this maternity benefit
if ur aim is to ask for higher pay then u can say the reason as such
but i am skeptic abt the job scope arrangement
since they have fallen into the habit of asking u do to everuthing
remember

Nora, entahlah. Now my mktg dept ada 3 girls in total. My superior, me and the myanmar girl.
The Myanmar girl's 'S' Pass is expiring in April. She is now also 50-50 nak quit cos gaji tak naik 3 tahun..same as my issue lah. So in Mar, dia akan carik kerja.. and if she get better pay, she will leave. So that leave me and my superior. My superior nie dah kerja sini for 8 yrs. It's her 1st job. So dia dah kena brainwash sikit with this company. So to her the jobscope here and the ad-hoc things people ask her to do, she thought it is normal everywhere. Cos kat sini byk andartu cina yg kerja since theyr turned 18. And they managed to phsycho my superior to believe that everywhere is even lower pay and more workload. Only until me and this Myanmar girl masuk and citer abt how life was better at the ex-company compared to here. She was defensive at 1st, but now baru dia sedar diri. And now dia preggy number 2. And her maternity will start in Aug right after i come back.
So now, the tactic is that for me to tender in mid-july. Then the management will ask me for reason, then i will explain. I think i will get abit of more pay and they will shuffle the jobscope. I tak kisah if the management want to let me go if i ask too. No problem. Just that my superior pun nak jalan after maternity.
