Any Good Pediatrician to recommend?

My 2 gals are seeing Dr Kumar at Kinder Clinic Paragon. Thumbs up for Dr Kumar. He is very experienced and quick in diagnosing my children's illnesses. He is also very patient to explain what happened and very re-assuring.
I have brought my gal to see neighbourhood PDs....But, still gotta travel a bit to see Dr Kumar to get them cured

Hi Sonia,
1st time consultation is S$80 and subsequent consultation is S$60. Yes, Dr Kumar is based in Paragon only.
I have not seen Dr Kenny Ee before but I know he is very popular with Japanese.

Hi,
I agree with Elmomo....my baby was down with diarrhoea due to Solmanella bacteria attack. I brought her to neighbourhood PD to see at first but was not diagnosed as such. Instead, the PD advised that it may be due to imcompatible formula which I just changed for my baby or just some virus attack.
3 days later, I brought her to see Dr Kumar who immediately diagnosed that my baby was attacked by Solmanella bacteria attack. The consultation/ stool analysis and medicine cost me a hefty $230! But, I think its $$$ well spent as my baby start to recover after that. She is now back to her buddly self and drinking well with the new formula.

I had a different experience with MP Ng and would not recommend him. He was dour and plain rude when I saw him. When I told him that my regular PD (who ironically had referred me to his clinic while on vacation) previously suggested my baby might have eczema, he dismissively told me "it's just heat rash, don't use big words like eczema!". Awful.

hi anyone know how's Dr Y.Y Yip? Is his charges ex? Any recommendations?
My son has asthma attack and long time hasn't recovered...keep coughing, then runny nos, then wheeze all together..so long few mths..sigh. (tried nebuliser, tonic, anti-biotics etc aldy). I am so tired and sad.

You can try SBCC Baby & Child Clinic Dr Nancy Tan or Dr Jenny Tang.
Dr Nancy was a paediatric gastro dr from KKH. Can see her if your child has gastro reflux etc.
Dr Jenny specialises in respiratory conditions. Very patient and nice lady.

Think Dr Janice specialises in child development as well.WAs talking to a parent there-his child is quite a fussy eater and is quite shy,does not talk to his peers.They have been seeing her a few times and now he has started eating and chewing his food.

I had already made 2 trips to KK and 1 to SBCC@AMK. But theres no improvement to her condition and I already paid around 500$. And we are yet to know the cause of her illness and some means to cure this.

@soho, u can try kinderclinic at Henry Park. Dr Gong and Dr Ravin are both very gentle and approachable PDs. However, i've not seen them for cough / flu as i normally go to my family GP.
So far i've used Sambuccol (from kids health shop) for kids and i find it extremely effective. She hardly need to take medication unless she has a fever but she recovers very quickly. Also, i try to give her vit C and cod liver oil to boost her immunity.
