Hi,any mummies discover alpha thalassmia during pregnancy?

My husband have it.
On the 3rd of may 17,kk hospital recommend me n my husband for blood test..yesterday kk hospital called told us tat we have alpha thalassamia..next Tuesday need to go kk hospital for annmio test,to check baby isit got.if yes,got to stop my pregnancy..

My hubby was suspected to be a thalassaemia carrier. According to our GP, if both parents have the gene, bb would have 25% chance of having actual thalassaemia. He or she will have 75% chance of being normal (Simply a gene carrier who does not exhibit symptoms, or completely free of the gene). Praying for the best for you!

Yeah, the 25% is called major thalassaemia. I have done amnio and waiting for the result. Pray hard.
