Chiny: u did cvs ah? My gynae told my Hub cvs higher chance of miscarriage so I decided to wait 16wks for amino. I hope I aso 自己吓自己. Hehe

Wow Mich haven't slp ah? I Just showered aft 2hrs of movie.. Keke ..bodyache sit for 2hrs
 
betsy u wrong lei.... u not yet see my princess... she is super nottie de... can fight with boys which my hubby also say that.... dont know she is girl or boy as she super hyper active....
 
me really forgetful.. need another 5min then go to sleep cause i forget on princess room aircon for her... har... if not i carry her in she sure wake up de.....
 
oh for her room no fan for her... as she need aircon... if fan she sure wake up sweat de....
i got tell my hubby pls go buy fan at her room cause i need to train her no air con soon...

Betsy: cvs n amino is different..cvs can be done earlier but I dun rem how it done Coz the gynea talk to my hub privately.. I only knw amino is to b done 16wks onwards when more placenta water and a needle will poke into the tummy . I read b4 cvs chance of miscarriage is higher but all these depend gynae skill aso. Juz Tat my gynae asked me to wait for 16wks as the risk is lower.
 
ya since yr gynae suggest amino test since he's more familiar with it..anyway dont worry too much
 
He can do cvs too but then he stil prefer me to wait as he did explain the risk of miscarriage is higher than amino. Decision stil on us.. So I wait lo Coz I dun take the risk.

pouch sling is easier for me to use coz i dun hv to keep adjusting the length. if u put on lotsa or lost lotsa weight pouch sling might not fit too well on u...using ring sling muz make sure how to tighten in btw the ring otherwise bb weight can make the sling loose not safe at all..not every guys wannt to use sling de...my hubby thinks using sling is niang he wont use dat...everytimes is me who sling the bb...

yes, i done cvs...without discussing with my gynae i immediately make an appt when i noe my oscar result not gd during my 1st pregnancy...after my gynae noes abt it he say i shld do amnio instead of cvs...coz very painful procedure n miscarriage chances is high if the doc who do for me is not skillful...luckily i din miscarriage...but i got to noe the gender within 2 wks which is 100% confirm. gd dat u choose amnio not like me worry & scared til my mind was blank...

betsy, the needle they used for cvs n amnio is different as well as the tummy area they poke not same....super painful...
 
I dont own a sling. Last time borrowed the MIM sling from my aunt. I find it difficult to use n very hot using it. So I bought the combi magical compact carrier.
 
Michelle: so many days? what a relief rite? Do u feel hungry aft that? E oth time I feel super hungry aft all e thing came out. LOL!
 
I tried e homemade chicken essence today. V yummy! It's concentrated chicken soup not like those bottled chicken essence where e taste can b abit yucky.
 
<font color="000080">CVS they take blood from the placenta. Amino they take amniotic fluid from the bb's surrounding. In most developed countries the risk is stated to be about the same now, due to tech advancements... but technically amnio is 1/250 chance miscarriage, CVS is 1/100 chance.</font>

You jiayou too... I've been reading a lot of ppl sharing their experiences, supposed to be like normal injection. But I'm more worried that while I'm waiting the 2-3weeks for the results, I'll go nuts thinking all sorts of scary things and scaring myself... haha.</font>
 
tethysea: 2-3 wks ah..by then the result is out le..i not scare abt the procedure or pain..as long healthy...i oni hate the waiting part..no choice..i beleive after that we going to be happy mummies..u jia you too!

Michelle: Got chance I do for you. I have electric double boiler so it's actually a no brainer ie no need to jagar the fire.

Sarah &amp; tethysea: How long do you have to wait till the results? My friend did CVS and she said only need to wait 5 days for the results which I felt was an eternity already. She said CVS v painful. I have ano friend who did amnio... she was carrying triplets so have to poke 3x!! She said not v painful. So both of u jia you! My gynae don't encourage CVS as the risk of miscarriage is high. He said shld wait for amnio.
 


Tethysea: did ur Gynae share with you that you can pay $200 to $300 more to get express results in 2 to 3 days? Then u get the full results again like normal after 2 to 3 weeks. I forgot the accuracy as compared to the full results but my Gynae say usually the express results same as full.
