Hello mummies! Forum having problems again, sigh..

Joelle & Bebe, I am keen in the mkj photography coz of the price but seems like alot of T&Cs and rules leh. Then touch up is only minimal. So now I am confused which to take up, either this or StudioLoft. Hubby finally agreed to go ahead liao! Not sure if its too late to take now though..

Cactus, thanks for the breastpad info!

Chloe, I have colleague who passed on her powder shampoo to me. Not sure if i will be using it. I scared will clog the scalp and end up itchy. I remembered someone telling me its not gd to use it. Will just standby and see how...

elise

are we gg ahead with spree? else i will lobang ECmum.... [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

babyL

yup also heard something about the powder clogging scalp...im advised not to use it but if ur colleague is ok after using it then maybe it depend on individual...

ladykirvin, i think it's normal to feel some itch but not when it starts to spread and affect your sleep...that's when you know this 'itch' is not the normal kind. The sad thing is i used to live in shorts and tanktops, so now to cover up from head to toe almost everyday is a torture to me. I mean, i don't wish to scare people with my rashes and scars too right?

icy, i did use cocoa butter when i was 20 weeks but after 2 days, my tummy started to itch so i just stopped totally because i'm afraid my ezcema will flare up. So prior to this PUPPP, i've not been using any stretchmark cream at all. I've only kenna-ed this PUPPP when i was about 31 or 32 weeks...now approaching 36 weeks and my whole body is still full of scars and still itching...

Noscon, my colleague didnt finish using it coz she had a short confinement so she gave me the balance. I am not sure if i will be using it though but will just put on standby just in case..

butterwaffles

Oic. #1 i use palmer, also itchy then i stop. Now i use Clarins.. had been better as compared to palmer. less marks. :D

I also have ezcema, but then see my tummy so dry.. so i try.

Now try to ren! I heard some aloe vera cream is good.. but on your condition better use what the doc recommends.

Noscon, no leh...didnt ask much coz that time I still intend to get one. Its only after that then i heard that its not gd using it...

babyl,

i think i will go with mkj coz its 20 selected photo and touch up can try do on my own ba... Anyway, i juz emalied her, she has afternoon slot available for tmr and nx wk. timing is 2.30pm.

BW,

Oh dear, your skin condition sounds really quite bad. Does sleeping with fan help relieve the symptoms a little? Cos air-con tends to dry the skin and makes it worse.

My eczema went away for the first 2 trimesters. Suddenly now 3rd trimester come back again. Must be partly due to weather and stress.

Very sian @ work. Feel like sleeping. Zzzz...

hi mommies...

the weather! sitting already i'm sweating like a hog!

but then great weather to do all my laundry.

sigh... had fried fish meat noodle and now am hungry, don't snack, i can hear the rumble in my tummy! a glass of soya would prolly help, scared of my heartburn, MS is back - doctor said it's normal. ayyoooo

carol

yup good weather for drying clothes... i washed a lot past 2 days...hope the heat will kill all the germs in my comforter and pillows too...

oh man...i cant control my snackings too....ate a choco puff too...

BW,

it will go away after the pregnancy as you'd be back to normal. Just need to hang in there too. My whole tummy is with stretch marks, can't do much... thighs has spider veins, can't do much either...

noscon,

[IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif] you can still eat anything, this diet watch sort of kills my mood to eat.

kekekek, chocolate.... will have to wait for me till after delivery.

today is testing allocation day for my blood sugar, roughly i spend the whole week on certain diet constrains so it's a pretty healthy cupboard of food i have - just that they are all not very appetizing compared to JUNK food :p

how will CNY pass?

Icy, how?

Jon, how?

icy, i think quite a few mummies are allergic to Palmers' brand leh. Clarins seem to be a better choice. I'm only using Cetaphil and QV lotion now. Was on oral steriod medication and lotion but i've stopped using the steriod cream as my gynae said can only use for 2 weeks. For now, i look like a dalmatian dog.

poohgirl, my skin is not good in the first place, pretty sensitive. I sleep with aircon 25 degrees and wear long pants and sleeves. The difficult thing is keeping myself cool but skin supple. So i apply lotion pretty regularly. I have to say because my gynae gave me a week's HL at that time, i was able to shower 3, 4 times a day, reapply lotion regularly and keep myself cool. At night, because very hard to sleep due to the itchiness, i can just wake up and have a cold shower then go back to sleep without worrying about having to wake up in time for work. I agree stress plays a part! Try not to be stressed...I hate to say this but i've noticed everytime i talk about my MIL, i feel very itchy all over. Stress will trigger ezcema so try to relax....

carol,

just got back from suntec

Absolutely no more shopping for me, totally no stamina......

Ate 3 slices of panfried carrot cake and a cup of no sugar chrysanthemum tea.

at noonish. Went Aussino with sis but boy 5 mins and i was sitting again. What's wrong with me!!

Had my set lunch at Hans (grilled porkchop) with the soup and tea korsong, no dessert and garlic toast. Test 6.0!! so i guess the carrot cake was still fine :p

my colleague was snacking the shilin fried chicken cutlet... and i couldnt resist the temptation - ended up with a lok mai kai and 2 tau sa buns..

think i gotta go light with my dinner [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/sad.gif]

BW,

you still use soap to bath?

Jon,

i say... adventurous mann!!

I have to sit too after a while of walking. I'd tell hubby you go ahead and i'd wait here for you (sitting amongst the aunties :p) - i'd be lucky is got a place to sit actually. The malls in Singapore don't have much to offer except for Ion,313,Taka.. got to Forum/Wisma... you die la, not a single seat! I guess it's to avoid loitering.

jon

i think its normal to be tired.... u r carrying 2kg of baby inside of u....

carrot cake may be oily but not sweet?

ladyK

me too... [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/sad.gif] thinking of jap food...m

My fish head beehoon pass, 5.8... i was clearing stuff and saw 8.5 - felt like fainting! look again, che - upside down the meter, phew!!

cleared husband study, i'm forever clearing his study! felt like never gonna make it to my daughter's room so i can move her out of mine!

carol

i totally agree with you... i went ION and can hardly find a place to sit... a lot of other pple also needs the seats like the elderly, parents with small children and kids themselves... i dont blame them for not giving way to me cos i think they need the seats too.... so not "needy" friendly.... maybe they want shoppers to keep walking and buy more... i think i will bring a stool with me next time "Be the auntie among the aunties"! [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

noscon,

if you move up a few levels at Ion they have a bit more seats, away from the branded level goods. Unsightly i would guess if ppl loitered.... basically - not friendly!

sorting out what to wash 1st for my baby's cloths :p....

dunnot how many times i've done this, consolation - this will be the last! muahahahahahahahaha

....till grandkids come along

YA, tell me abt seating space in shopping malls. Aiyoh those pple even put their bags on the bench! now i got to pay for my seat - go fast food chains and cafes and order a drink just to park there to rest!

Carol,

hahaha i very paisei one. oh well, was telling hubby to bring a foldable stool along with us in future... just like pple queue'ing for Condominiums!

carol,

i wasn't sitting on a bench/stool/chair fyi :p

I was at aussino barely 5mins and i had to go sit on the raised platform where their bed is!! pathetic!

Muahahahaha, good one the inverted kit!!

noscon,

I was desperate la, hungry and going to faint le so just walked into "chen fu ji" and order a plate of panfried carrot cake. The Tim sum kind, not cha tou kueh. I must it's nice :p

can see shredded raddish, not the cheapo kind with lotsa flour. Maybe that's why won't fail reading.

ya.... i know, besides some ppl very thick skin! pointless so say much.

at 8 months, now only i have ppl saying.. wow, when you due? oh my... even my husband's cousin also didn't know when he saw me the other day - didn't bother to mention. I guess pregnant woman are really a neglected bunch here.

que to pay at NTUC aunty can still ask me if she can cut in front of me?? and i'm carrying like A full in the basket, daughter some more have to ask - why aunty cannot QUE issit?

carol

i know i went all the way up to level 6 and has to share a seat with 2 china men who didnt know to give way to pregnant ladies! sigh.....

ladyK

yeah i did that too and then couldnt resist ordering fries! sigh.....

jon

yeah i understand...those can be healthy but just a tad bit oily... [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif] but wow can be delicious too..esp the crispy corners..

a lot of preg ladies backsides quite meaty kinda...like those black female "fong man" singers i see on MTV.... some men(may not be sporean) find that sexy leh....

i have extra mittens... anyone wan extras??

mailing tomorrow as i'd be at the post office, lemme know ya [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

normal mittens - 3 pairs. with orange threads, gift from GSK - rotavirus makers.

carol, no soap! Too drying...i now bathe with Cetaphil or QV. But i have to say i prefer Cetaphil, more moisturising [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

jon01josh03, wow now you talk about carrotcake...i think i shall have carrotcake for dinner, heh.

hahahaha

meaty butts! i agree!

i actually felt that my sitting height increased because of the additional flesh/ fats that accumulated at my bum agree!

Carol,

I am super happy today, cos I pass my readings with the lowest score hahhaa

BF - 5.3 - 2 soft boil eggs (ard 70% cooked) with tea with equal

Lunch - drumstick doubleboil with paosheng and chicken of essence. 1/2 bowl of brown rice. Drink my tea w/ equal again - 4.3!!

Super happy.

For CNY, i think i just cut on rice and other carbo.. shouldnt be a problem. I just eat meat and veggie!

noscon,

wah fries! i cutting back on fried food - think weather's bad, hubby caught a flu, i don wan to be down with any illness at this point!

CNY... aiyoh i think even for me, i gotta cut back abit, i'm starting to be worried that i will get a giant baby coz my GF baby really growth spurt in the final 8 weeks...

jonjosh,

Yeah!! Morning get low cos I give up bread.. then think the effect pass down to lunch.

Tmr I am going to get a haircut to thin my hair a bit then I can be ready for CNY.

icy!!! congrats!!!

[IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

errr... 4.3 low ya, 5.5-6.6 for after meals [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

BW,

yes, soap is a no no! I had severe eczema for 1st pregnancy - had to use soap free solution, have to use that if my eczema occasionally breaks out, horrible smell! and shampoo too Tar Shampoo :p

icy,

thinking of thinning my hair too these few days, which hairdresser u go to? I did my rebound last time at loyang pt, wonder if i should go back there to cut hair.

Carol,

eh the person you met at NTUC really one of a kind and your daughter is definitely cool!

just now i was trying to exit from the lift, and this guy was standing right outside the door and refused to shift away.. IF he doesnt shift away, how am i going to get out? WA LIEW! the door only this wide lor! and i was already sticking my tummy out as a SUPER BIG HINT...

yo mommies, have u all settled on ur names on bb yet? i'm 35 weeks tmr.. and i'm getting really excited! went for hospital tour yesterday at TMC.. and the guide showed us where the 'monitoring room' was.. and the 'actual delivery room' where the real action will take place.. got microwave.. tv.. etc.. cant imagine i'll be going through that in less than 5 weeks or so.. *heart thumping*

btw, hubby has picked out a name for bb, out of the many names Mom gave..

bb will be named

张韵涵 (zhang1 yun4 han2)

Mirabelle Teo

if nothing nicer comes up [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]
