kiren food sound yummy leh...
can share how you prepare the beef n tomato pasta? which part of the beef do you buy?
I tot of making my own tomato sauce too.
my boy has been rejecting solids. eat a few spoonful then dun wan liao... hope to intro other food to arouse his appetite.
he's only interested to plain water now.. faintz..
 


Ainsley : Just like cooking normal pasta but with adding olive oil. Boil water in a pot, then pour a few grains ( use 1 tablespoon) into the pot and cook till it soft, then drain and run under cold water to serve later, as for the sauce, i use minced beef, 1 tomato (skin peeled and diced), a few cubes of pumpkin, i steam them all in the avent blender cum steamer for 15-20mins, then turn over to blend till fine grains. Then pour it over the pasta and serve. Very tasty leh. yum~
 
snowpear : try making a slight bigger portion, and eat it in front of your bb, then feed your bb. bbs tend to imitate adults, so they will try to eat it as well. I tried it bb kiren, and it works.

for pasta source, if too cumbersome, u can use a small bottled food to substitute.
 
canopy - how much of milk did kiren drink a day? My boy sometimes drink 2 times only leh....so abt 400ml total...very little rite...

manunited : here's bb kiren's schedule:-

7plus : breakfast : 1st give him 4oz of formula, then 2 tablespoon of cereal.
Sleep

11plus : lunch : homemade puree (eg sweet potato, carrot, pumpkin, baked/steamed fish, potato etc)

Rest for a while, Shower, Give bb a 2-3oz milk, cos he always falls asleep after milk. Sleep

3plus : tea break : 5oz milk, then yogurt or mashed fruit eg kiwi, papaya, apple, mango), then rest for a while, play a little, will give him water in between

Sleep ard 6pm.

7plus : dinner : porridge time! Rest, then body wipe

11pm : Bedtime : 8oz milk.

i busy noting down, ltr will tell mil what she can cook for my girl. hee...

canopyhaze, can check with u... the bellamy pasta iszit unlike our normal pasta, would not bloated up one?
cos tried cooking once for baby... boiled for so long... turned soft but the size unchanged.

My jovin trying to get out from his bumbo seat yesterday but unfortunately fail becos his tight get struck there.
 
Pea : yes, the pasta doesn't increase in size when cooked, just turned soft, if u have worries that bb might be unable to digest, u can blend the cooked pasta together with the sauce as well.
Also, u can try cooking chawanmushi, but without egg, just mash the toufu, and put chopped carrot, minced meat, and fish and put it in a small bowl, I use ikan billis and dried scallop to cook soup, and pour a little into the the smaill before steaming it. Quite nice.

Lynn : He put his feet on the walker joints, and pushes himself out slowly till his 2 hands reach the floor, and slides down slowly. Buay Tahan him, now gotta cold storage the walker liao!
 
canopy - you give alot of food varities for kiren leh....he is so lucky! maybe i shall try pasta for him...

Canopyhaze; u give kiren beef or jus use for sauce? If so, u buy fresh beef from market or supermart ?

I haven try beef yet.. So far, I only give pork fillet minced it w porridge.
I cook soup as stock to brew w porridge... But also haven let bb try eating the chicken...
Tomato also haven try...
Everyday thinking wat to prepare... Ur boy eat quite a fair bit lor... Like so shiok... I nvr give tea break purée yet, sometimes lazy, jus give biscuits. Haha!!!

Can't wait to see the pics from roger photoshoot for last wkend ! Yeap!
 
shokel, my mum said use "muscle" meat to cook...but i haven let him eat meat yet.

can they eat tomatoes now? can put into porridge and cook anot huh? will it be weird taste? but i think my boy will eat cos so far he loves to eat anythg!
 
shokel : i give him both the sauce and beef as well. I've bought the minced beef from supermarket. Tofu is those in rectangular packet, about $1/pack. Never tried mushroom b4, i think bb may have difficulties eating it.

Janiz : i use normal rice, but sometime mixed with brown rice.

Shokel : where do u stay? Cos i saw your post on the size m pamper active bb. Told my hubby abt it, if u stay near us, i will pass u a brand new packet of size L pamper active bb, and i will get your size m, i've stocked up quite a fair bit of size L, just finished size m, but find size L a bit too big for my bb, reckon will only need size L in another month's time. Let me know. Thanks.

u use wat kind of tomato? The norm type we eat?
I have no time to feed my boy milk on wkdays not to mention giving solid. He usu up @ 7-7:15 then 730 will bring him to my in-law plc then I will leave for work liao.

I dun even wanna sugg to my IL what to gv to my boy. Even for fruits, she kept saying y so young muz eat fruits liao.... damn sianz...
so I'm only left with wkends to try out new food.

BTW, anybody wanna go Isetan private sales this Thurs??? thking of taking leave to chiong sales again hohoho..... wanna gather on that day???
 
Tks canopy. I am using normal white rice too but i think it does not have much nutrition leh. So now thinking what other type of rice i can use.

Snowpear, she will sometimes sit tat way bt seldom. This sitting position is her fav position! Lol..

N hor, nn aways like to use her fingers to dig my mouth n stuff her toes in my mouth while latching. Buay tahan! Lol..
 
Thanks for all the prayers/wishes that given to EnYu. She is drinking her milk now though still diluted but she seems to take it well.

Do monitor closely on your baby for this whole week.

Lsntyl, thks bt hor, her eyes were small n sleepy ytd during the ps. Didn't slp fr 7+am to 12+pm. I wonder hw she will look like when the photos t out. Lol

ya. Sometimes I feel uncomfy for her lor. Then I shift her leg in front bt she shift herself again. lol

Ainsley... Mine is a gal too.. and a big fat gal. Haha...Think they shld feel okie cos all fats mah not muscles.


Janiz... Maybe u wan to chk w ur pl medical hall there got sell those brown rice mix w some chinese stuff like lian zi and etc(the medical halll mix themselve.. Now my gal is taking this for her lunch and she love it. They say is good for their health.

I always adjust my boy's legs when he sits that way but he will adjust back again too. The strange stuff they get up to. You might want to be careful when she uses her fingers to dig into your mouth. My boy did that once and somehow cut his papa's mouth.

Ainsley: bb sophie also sits like this haha. And she feel off the bed on fri night =( left cheeck got slight blue black...poor thing. its my fault for leaving her on my bed playing. I did put pillows at e side thinking that it is safe but she crawled over them. =( sob sob. hope it will go away soon....
