hello mommies, we discharge this afternoon, cos i think she is too traumatize to continue her stay in hospital. Cos at 1am, she was drench in cold water to cool her down, she cry till almost vomit. I was alone with her cos terence went back to get her medication record, and i almost died on the spot. I feel so sad and i regret to let her being sponge even though the nurse has warn me that i will be the one that feel horrible and actually its not painful for ur daughter.
Since the 1am, each time a nurse comes in, she will cry, she cling on to me and refuse to be let down to sleep. Until terence brought her pillow, she was too tired and tot its her cot probably. Till now she did not have much milk, no semi solids as she cant seems to swallow. There is no blister on her and so far fever is not very high and i hope it stay this way. I dunno whether to seek a 2nd opinion becos yuyu had ulcers in her throat with the same fever up and down before. And it wasnt hfmd, it was viral fever. And she having a bit of running nose.
Terence and i feel very bad to all the great mommies i meet that lunch, i had such a great time and am very guilty now. I pray to god last night that all the babies will be fine. Please give water and non-heaty food to your babies. My sis say that if the body is heaty, will prone to getting sick.
BTW HFMD is very wide spread nowadays, anywhere will kanna. So do clean high chairs, tables when your baby sit down and try not to let them bite anything including wet tissue wrapper which we often give to our baby to entertain. Cos some baby might have touch it and not use it, the restaurants will usually recycle. As what my pd say, cos im trying to think where she got it from, he say no pt speculating, the incubation period is 3-5 days usually, 7 days is too long and symptoms would have appear. Its so common nowadays how do we avoid? My sister children got it at swimming pool...
sometimes i wipe and wipe tables so much, i make sure i wash my hand and enyu hand when we got home. Bath her before she touch her bed. Feed her nutritious stuff. and still sigh she always kanna. My suayness spread to her. Sorry am very tired and dunno if im talking sense. Pls check ur babies daily ya. sorry.
