Hi Jlingmummy, i'm going polyclinic to get referral to high risk clinic. But unsure to go for kkh or nuh. Is nuh a better choice? Any recommendation?

I'm thinking of requesting the polyclinic to refer me to high risk clinic if possible. Not sure if my stillbirth delivery at 34 weeks last year due to unknown cause of placenta abruption can be considered.

Anyone here had or having high risk pregnancies? Where would you recommend to have pre-natal checkups/delivery? KKH, NUH or SGH?

I just took out my FA and OBS scan report just nw. Both stated about the right uterine notch. I'm guessing it could be mild and doesn't raise any red flag to my gynae. She was known to be experience though. Same here, I thought I would prefer private practice/female gynae.. but now... hmm..

You're right. I think having another random gynae would be good, though the cost would be more than what it already is Mine was 1.8kg at birth (34weeks). Weight during checkup (33weeks) was ~2.1kg. Abit more than 15%, but yours definitely much more. Anyway, I just saw this online and looking...

I thought weight can be easily detected in the scans during pre natal checkups. But I do hear that there may be a 15% error in ultrasound fetal weight estimation.

My gynae was saying that the cause of placenta abruption is usually due to HBP. But my bp was always good for all the check-ups. She was also asking me if I had intense cramps or headache, which I dont. Hence, she couldn't explain more. I had the usual obstetric ultrasound for growth with full...

I saw a thread on stillbirth but it was dated 2005. Thought would be good to create a new one here, especially since I just had one at week 34. Wondered if anyone want to share their story and experience here.
