A pretty popular recipe for Fruitsicle is avocado and pear. For yoghurt, I just put the yoghurt in with cubes of fruit, like banana, mango. Etc.

Bubbles is 3 solids a day, but she likes her milk still [emoji29] I read that when bb hits 1 yo, their intake requirements drop drastically. And milk is no longer their main source of nutrition, more like drinking water. Their nutritional needs should come from solids. Emk Jr can STTN already?

I agree with this. All her milestones I tried to leave her be, mil keeps trying to force bubbles to walk, she keep squatting and crawling away from her. Whereas I never force and she will attempt to take steps with me (assisted)...And can stand quite long unassisted on bed also...Haha when she...

Hrm I think as long as she's active, alert, hitting milestones, should be ok? Some babies are just smaller and leaner than others, genetics play a big part! If you are concerned, maybe give her higher fat foods like cheese, cold water fish, foods cooked in unsalted butter? Now they're all...

Oh and I cannot for the life of me get her to repeat words after me like you do, @redvel ! She will just stare and ignore then out of the blue babble it out. Same for gestures like hello, bye-bye, come here.... Everyone in wugay club liow?? I know KWL Jr graduated from bogay club today...

Haha bubbles talks a lot but not clear de la. She just once in a while ask for avocado (ehwocado/cadocado) or repeat it after I serve it to her, and can repeat the intonation better than the pronunciation :))) potatoes are her fave now, so she does say it once in a while when I ask her what she...

Bb under 1yo daily salt intake should be under 0.4g...The blw fb grp members recommend bega and babybel brand. Many mummies have given bega stringers as snacks and the bb seem v fond of it! They are still quite high in salt, but all things in moderation, so maybe once or twice a week is ok and...

Yeah I try to do as much as possible but bubbles sleep not predictable and she's super light sleeper :( because of the latter, she co-sleeps with us on the bed, no matter how i try cannot transfer to cot and she can only latch to sleep. So even when she nap/sleep, now that she can crawl, we...

Tell many times liow. I do BLW so there's no "feeding" per se, just that she will lose momentum and want to be carried out to play when mil leaves the table. This has been happening since day 1. :( And we're already at 100+ days now!!!! [emoji35]

So nice, to see all the bb get along with grandparents :) although I stay with mil, she only knows how to play with bubbles, everything else is ok mummy, nehneh. Problem is she will try to get bubbles' attention at all times, especially mealtime. And bubbles is super distractible, she eats...

Hang in there Elm! I am also a SAHM and some days it feels like never-ending latch and laundry [emoji28] Agree with @KWL . Every baby and family is unique, no judgements here! It's just that we are often made to believe that the ideal baby will eat sleep poop on schedule, which is NEVER the...

Hi Elm, mine is still up all night every 2-3 hrs latch, and cluster feeds in evening till midnight, 3 solids a day (tho she also doesn't eat much, baby led weaning). Babies wake up in motn for all sorts of reasons. Thirsty, hungry, too cold, too hot, sudden noise... I know mine has a small...

I showed bubbles how to drink from straw cup using @tuna 's straw trick! Initially she didn't take to it until around 8-9mth I tried again, and bingo! I offer sips between bites (I also do blw) and drink a lot of water in front of her, often sharing from my water bottle also. So she eventually...

This was part of the notes polyclinic provided, at this point all our bb should be starting on "adult food" aka "solid solids" - Google "baby weaning finger foods" and plenty of recipes and ideas come up!
