@dramaqueenie , i just back from transfer. My progesterone was 5 and Dr Tan give a go ahead to transfer. He said ideally, the number is below 4 but doesnt mean definately wont pregnant if above 5. He said just that the percentage is lower. He said he had cases of even higher reading and bfp. Ivf itself is a gamble. So just go ahead and try ba. Thinking if freeze and do FET, later embryo cant survive the thaw, even worst. Don even have chance to come back to mummy.

KKH called and confirmed it's negative.
But my hormones level are high.
They asked me to stop all medication and to come for another blood test this Monday.
The nurse did mentioned that I might ovulate earlier than expected
Its 13dpt today. My blood test is on 15th. Quantity not much actually. Color is brown. Hope it doesn't get heavier..
It always sucks when its negative. Im sure your next try will be better. Hugz

Which hosp are u with? Yours is a day 3 or day 5 transfer? The BT date seems quite long after transfer

Theoretically D5 has higher chance but depends on the number of embryos u have. For nuh, usually if more than 6 embryos then they will grow till D5. Cos if lesser than that, they don't want to risk the death of the embryos during the process.
There's are sisters who got BFP with D2-3 embryos also

Did the craziest thing since this my last play to this game. Have got 3 pregnancy home test kit.
Thought of doing a daily test on D9, D10 and D11 for fun. D11 my supposedly AF day. D12 my 40 years old birthday.
Leave to fate. God will know the plan to help me choose what's best for me. I have faith on you be it a pass or fail, will accept.
Of course, I pray for positive result. Amen.
My beta on 23 Sep. I hope that everything can go as planned. To take blood work on 23 Sep and not needed to do any time early.

What hormones are high? I only remember Kkh do hcg test but not any other hormone test.

Not sure what was derived from the BT earlier. She asked me to go and re-take BT again this Monday.
Its a frozen emby. I'm with Kkh. I also think the BT is pretty long. Spotting seems to be increasing in quantity. But still brown. I might just go in on Monday instead and ask for a BT rather then wait till Tues. Sigh

my last cycle I had it too but it was red. Called and asked the nurse, she advised to keep inserting the utresgerone(sp?). I guess you're right I'll continue as usual heh just one more day

Just had the first jab of Puregon yesterday, and today is the second. My hands always shake when I am jabbing myself.
Anyway, I found something strange. During the counselling, the nurse told us that we would be asked to come back for review every 2 - 3 days. But when I went for my first scan yesterday, they fixed the return date as Friday, which would effectively be the 6th day after I start jabbing myself. How come ah?
And then, they initially said that the MC was going to be 2 weeks but during yesterday's consultation, they told me it's 17 days after extraction. The information does not seem to be very accurate...hard to plan for leave :s

The reviews are every 2-3 days usually closer to the target date. I remember I had to go in almost every other day so they can check on follicle growth. That usually stops when your follicles reach target size. So they won't ask you to come in so early after you start jabbing. Your body needs time to react to the jabs.
They'll give you hospitalization leave of 17 days. Its not mc because most companies have more Hosp leaves than medical leaves anyways.

but i also read somewhere it means it is the end of the implantation. so confusing. yeah... feel like a bum most times, taking naps in the day, because I've being waking up at 5-6am for past few days..Yes, indeed. I used to went thru this, do understand how u feel. I v kiasi de, I always go to kkh a&e whenever I saw spotting. Go there check early better than waiting at home worry. @Dreamscometrue I did the blastocyst transfer on 07Sept, so if never count wrongly, means spotting was on 5 days post (ET day is day 0) ? I didn't go kkh a&e leh.. just observe first. so far, just 1 time spot only. I had 1 major cramping on 3 days post, cramp until both thighs also, but lasted only 1.5 hrs, unlike the normal cramps. now having some very tight twinging sensation on and off.
it's my first time so not sure what to expect. have 1 more week left before BT, trying to stay sane!

@HLing I did mine at KKH. I did brought along a sanitary pad just in case. Was knocked out during the procedure. since had to fast, I felt hungry and slightly pain after OR - they gave some painkiller. My procedure took the whole morning - including waiting for the doctor, and waking up plus observation after the procedure. somebody has to accompany u home after it.

Hi, first time I use a pad, 2nd time use a panty liner. Shouldn't have so much blood.. Usually just abit of stain.
yes u will be under general anesthesia, meaning you will be totally knocked out. After the procedure, u probably will wake up after an hr plus, u will find yourself at the recovery ward, still drowsy.
Afterwhich, they will push u to the ward and stay there for another 4 hrs. In the mean time sleep and wait for dr to see u before they will let u eat and discharge.
Dr will update u on how many eggs retrieved and check ur tummy.

@HLing By the way, first round I think they doped me more, hence hubby said I return to ward abt 2 hrs plus later, and I didn't feel any pain so did not take any painkillers, slept alot and did not feel hungry,
2nd round, I returned to ward 1 hr plus later and I felt abit more pain so took pain killers at the recovery ward, did not sleep as much and feel hungry very soon after..

@Dreamscometrue where did u do the transfer? I transferred 2, now left only 2 others, which I don't know their current status (the embryologist said I can know this when I do my BT... they had to observe some more first b4 freezing
) . BT on 21 Sept. nice to find someone with around same time of transfer!

How was the surgery extraction? Did your husband experience any pain or discomfort during his recovery process? My husband also has azoospermia and he will be going for his surgery this coming Thurday.
If they do manage to find sperms, we will then proceed with IVF.
