There’s always something fresh and fun to do, see, and eat on our little red dot every month. From the latest playgrounds and pop-up events to world-class stage productions and new family-friendly menus, there’s plenty to keep you and the kids engaged. We’ve even included some exciting ideas for those #stayhome days.

Because the school holidays happen this March, we’ve also included our picks of activities, events, shows and more that are made just for young ones, from The Esplanade’s March On 2021 to Got To Move 2021 which will definitely get everyone in the family off their feet and grooving!

Spend a week at the Museum

Yes, a week. ACM Caravanserai

Bring the kids on a journey down the ancient Silk Route, where caravanserais — large guest houses for roaming merchants and their caravans — existed. From 13 March, ACM will be recreating this with ACM Caravanserai, an array of fun-filled experiences that transport visitors to the Silk Road era. Take part in craft workshops, browse the pop-ups featuring food, drinks, jewellery and more, all inspired by Asian craftsmanship. This colourful experience is one that shouldn’t be missed!

World Water Day

Alice’s Topsy Turvy Tea Party by The Kueh Tutus

Come dressed in your party best and be part of wonderland! Junior Theater: ‘Balloonacy’ Mime Comedy

An old curmudgeon man celebrating his birthday alone is interrupted by a magical red balloon that drifts into his apartment. Around the World in 80 Days

There’s no overseas travel possible now, but the kids can go on a journey around the world with Andsoforth Junior’s Around the World in 80 Days Book Workshop. Along the way they’ll visit replicas and reimagined places like an old London theatre, a ship travelling from Egypt to Bombay, a jungle in Kolkata, visit Japan’s oldest and largest coal mine, ride on the Kowloon-Canton Railway, write a postcard, and learn about Detective Fix in Jules Verne’s most famous book. This 75-minute performance-workshop is best for children aged 3 to 10 years. Children aged 7 and below must be accompanied by an adult.
