To me, no point recording numbers that are not accurately reflecting our bbt. Yes our body temps are different when we wake at 7am or 10am. However, I believe fertility friend app helps you to "correct" the temps if you measured at different timing. I don't like the idea of it so I just don't temp on those days.

actually for my case, not much difference... so far, bbt charts quite accurate to determine the O and my period coming...
maybe tat y my TCM and gynae never mention must take same timing, only mention must take first thing when i wake up
 
Pixie, your body very 乖。 I always temp between 6-630am. I tried at 8am and later. Completely different.

but actually after taking clomid, i think no need bbt... my gynae also nv rely on it...i continue to take for my spouse to see...
my gynae just determine using size of my follicles and the thickness of the lining for my O...and i use clearblue kit...
 
I have never done clomid....does clomid also monitor you by scanning? I know iui does but not sure about clomid.

understand if you see at KK, they wun scan for you.. only ask you come back for blood test at CD21 or something...

i see at private clinic, the gynae review me on CD11, CD15 & CD18...
CD11 to check my follicles growth whether clomid works or not, and also tell me when to BD.. i guess she determine CD15 i shld O, but when i see her, she do ultrasound scanning and check, i still have not O.. so she just review follicles and lining to make sure everything nice nice.. CD18 i go back again and ultrasound scanning show that I already O-ed...

tat y i feel that bbt is not necessary as ultrasound scanning is most accurate :p

That's true, I probably switch after finishing this batch of opk sticks. Just saw on qoo10 that Clearblue is about $3+ per stick, still pretty affordable. Though double the cost of my current one haha..

i bought mine at amazon.. cost about USD35 per 20 sticks...so about SGD2.41 per sticks...
the box say 20 sticks for 2 cycle... but actually my case 20 sticks i can use up to 6 cycles... coz my O is normally arnd CD14 to 16.. so i will start testing on CD12... so if O on CD14, this cycle i only use 3 sticks.. if CD16, i use 5 sticks...

Hi laies, need advice. As I will be doing my first ivf in 20 March, do you think I should cancel my Bangkok trip fixed on 11-18 June. Will the after procedure suitable for travel.
 
Elsie, for me, all travel plans shall be put on hold. If bfp, I won't travel. If no bfp, you might need subsequent IVF that might clash.

hmm.. if i'm pregnant, i will still travel as long as gynae approves.. coz my travelling plan already book until july liao...

understand from my friend, if pregnant and gynae say not safe to travel, they will issue medical reports then i can claim my air tix & hotels from insurance... if gynae say ok, then i will just go lo...haha...

after 2WW, on the day your menses suppose to come
you can still check in 1WW, but if hCG is too low to detect by pregnancy kit, you will get a false negative
 
I am at my 2WW, blood test this Friday. I have day 3 embryo transfer on the 21st jan. 2 embryo transfer, grade 5. Under Dr Sadhana, On day 11,I start to observe spotting. And day 13, that is today my spotting from brown turn to red today. Anyone have BFP blood test even though Menes come?

maybe just wait for 2WW so that hCG is enough for pregnancy kit to detect?
coz i also waiting for 2WW to be over...today is CD22, 7 days more to go!

according to the show, 20% of the women can get menses during their pregnancy...so they do not know they are pregnant

i didn't go hospital. i went to private clinic - women's specialist at bukit batok. my gynae is Selina Chua.. recommend by my colleague... my first visit in 3 weeks ago..

she puts all her price list on the receptionist there.. so is transparent to everyone...

nope. i told the receptionist i want to book appt with Dr Selina Chua. the receptionist will ask whether you are pregnant, then i told her "no but i want to get pregnant". then they give u an appt date. first consultation the gynea will explain the procedure to you...

private is more "professional" than government so the procedure may differ
 
Hi, I have been a silent reader for this thread. Like some of us, pregnancy doesn't come easy for me. Have seen many gynaes, tcm pray to God etc. I was finally pregnant last year after seeing a fertility specialist. My bb will be 1 mth old tomorrow. And my hubby is returning red eggs to tpy Shuang li Shi today. Feel free to drop down and take. Baby dust to all! :)
 
My temp this morning is post O number so I believe I ovulated already. But only last night BD once for this cycle. Day 1 of 2ww.

For kk,they only get you to do blog test on cd21. If u kuan, congrats. if not,just take clomid and try until they decided that maybe you should see a RE. Maybe that's for subsidised patient. For pte patient with kkh,not v sure..

My menses come two days before my blood test. Blood test results will be out in 3 hours at KK IVF center. Blood test results come out to be negative. Will have to visit doctor in one week time. Need to redo IVF cycle again. Meanwhile, visit chinese TCM to tiao body first. Chinese physician ask me to avoid cold drinks so uterus will be warm, must create conducive environment for embryo to grow

I'm trying hard to avoid too. No more koi :(
 
Can drink koi la. Just make sure you leave the ice to melt for half hr-45mins. Don't be too hard on ourselves.

I think cut down on cold drinks. Try not to drink lor. But if no choice then drink lesser. TCM also ask me eat 白鳳丸 2x per week. Good for ladies. But this can be purchase at Yu ren Sheng. But when having period cannot eat the pill.
 

I think good to check with your sinseh. Because I have small fibroids, my gynae told me don't take. My sinseh also told me don't drink since her potion are strong enough.
