Hi euniee, can you add me in too? My email is [email protected]

I'm one of those who is very thrilled that I got pregnant. TTC every since my big day more than 2 years plus, only to know during fertility checks that I have got 2 blocked tubes. Luckily managed to get pregnant exactly 3 months from my surgery. Now I only hope can brave thru the first trimester with the little one. Then hopefully everything goes on smoothly.

Hi all. Guess I'll be joining this thread. Tested positive 2 days ago but the sac can't be seen yet. Will be going back to my doc for checkup on the 5th March. This will be my third pregnancy. I have a 6 years old gal n a 4 years old boy.. hope everything goes well with this bb too.. cheers

should wait for 3 more days, and do another test.. after that, go to doctor..

I understand how nerve-wrecking u must be feeling now.. was exactly the same when i was 4 days late, and mine is usually only 1 day early or late..

Thanks.. Trying not to stress myself too much

Hi mummies! My edd is 2nd Oct and I'm almost 9 weeks now. This is my first bb n I'm hoping everything goes well. =) have been having bad morning sickness.. hoping it'll subside soon =D

Good Morning mummies! Added more members into FB group. Members can help to add too in case I miss your email..

wow, no make up? but how's that related to any effect on pregnancy? 0.o Lol, maybe can slow talk to him lah, if any adverse effect, then logic ma u cannot wear..

same, but sometimes even i sleep enough also tired..haha..

I know for lipstick not advisable as it can be ingested and anything we take or put on our body will affect bb. For us, it's rather extreme, but he wants me to only wear makeup from 2nd trimester onwards, when things are more stable.

U started drinking from which week onward? Was thinking to start when i hit the second trimester

I started once I found out that I was pregnant. I checked with my dr and he said that it is fine to start milk and chicken's essence now. Vitamins can wait till 2nd trimester.

Hi fellow mummies i'm joining the Oct 2015 MTBs.
This is my #2. My #1 is 18 months. I'm 7 weeks and met gynae ytd. EDD is mid-Oct.

Just got back from my first check. I'm almost 6 weeks in but only a sac is detected. Was given hormone pills. Will go for another check next week to see if there's any developments. If not it means it has stopped growing.

For my last pregnancy I visited 2 gynaes separately and both advised against drinking milk. Both said it's unhealthy to drink milk in general

Did your gynaes explain why it's bad? Is it just for 1st tri or throughout the pregnancy?

I think sometimes too early to see at 6w. All the best for you, don't worry!

Yeah I think so too. But my hubby just wants to be more careful. I heard that lipstick is a no-no though?

It is not surprise if yr hubby doesn't want u to wear make up at all... Maybe he's afraid of all the chemicals from the make up that is being absorbed into yr skin will get transferred to the baby...

He's being normal... Cos I have a number of friends who stopped using make up, perfumes, lotions, face cream etc cos they do not want any "chemicals" on themselves, thinking it will be passed on to the baby...

My hubby doesn't allow me to eat fish cos he said all fish got some level of mercury...

I can't rem what exactly, I rem it is fattening and could cause osteoporosis.

On the topic of make up, I think it's fine to use. I used all the way and even painted my nails often. My boy is fine. But then to each his own. Everyone's belief is different so do whatever that makes u feel good. :)

Yes, I have stopped using most creams, facials, perfumes, lotions. Not feeling the prettiest but I guess it's only for this 9 months :) I normally check the ingredient list to make sure there are no AHA or retinols before I use the lotion as well.

I still eat fish, but avoid king mackerel and tilefish etc., which have high levels of mercury. I'm craving for my fave laksa though, but without hum, it's not as nice :(

Yeah I read that it's better to drink low-fat milk.

Yes I definitely miss my mani pedi, facial and massage :( But I read that some mummies still go for facials but ask their beauticians to use products suitable for them...

I was wondering if the experienced mummies have any good pregnancy and breastfeeding books to recommend? :)

Hi all mummies! I'm expecting my #2 and EDD should be 10th Oct 2015. (TBC) Am going to see gynae in a while more and I'm still as excited. Haha

Seems like there's many mummies here with snake babies as #1 too! My #1 is also a snake baby..

Nice to see all of you here!
