Re: crooked leg

How to tell dat the leg is crooked? Sometimes he still positioned his leg like a frog, ie. Bend at knee cap like that of frog style swimming position. Is that considered crooked? I tot it is due to the diaper is in his way. Think I better check with the physio on his next session.



Xihui, u still admire yr loot.... I almost get killed when I bring them out to wash... Imagine 10 pair of socks n countless pants plus tops from the spree...



Chloe, will it be ok to help me collect the octotunes? Understand Elise say it's bulky. If it's not manageable, let me know ok?

there's a certain way - technic, might wanna check before massaging Lac's legs. But I don't think you shud worry k, all babies are diferrent.

try calling the malay massage lady and ask her to do one session for you then follow. I can't explain how to massage, but you need to hole both feet together from the thighs/buttocks and index finger and thumb pressure down inner thighs and squish inwards. hehehehee... doesn't make sense when i read :p but that's the best i can explain.

Xihui, u got abt 10 pcs... I got 10 pair of socks. 2 romper, 3 pants, 2 overalls, 3 t shirt, 1 set of kimono type suit.. This is not all, still got another set of loots from old navy which I haven't collect, think dat one is abt another 8 piece of tops/bottom... Tsk tsk tsk...

MY BOY FELL FROM THE BED!!!



OH MAN... I AM SO SO SO GUILTY!!



It was his sleeping time, thus i put him on our bed, as usual and surrounded it with pillows.. This time I didnt wait till he was asleep and went out to wash his bottles, etc.. then I heard a thud! I went into the room and saw he fell with the pillow. It wasn't that loud, but he was facing up. And he cried.. i hugged him and he fell asleep.



What should I DO?

It's past his nap time. So while i carried him, he cried for about a minute..then started to drift off to sleep... now as he's sleeping he still fidgets and he looks normal.. SIGH!

I can;t get over it. Furthermore, the pillow WASNT at the edge of the bed. I have no idea how he could kick it out and fell with it...

Yeah..i will monitor.. i wanted to tell my hb, but he told me he's in a meeting. I figured I better not alarm him yet. My ILs are not around too.. if they finds out, they are gonna scold me! they kept warning me about my bed. I mean...i did take some precaution. But it just happens! Argh..

WF, sorry to hear abt Elliot fall. I know how u feel coz when Lucas fell, i feel guilty too. check any bum. Monitor him closely if any vomitting, crying for no reasons, drowsy n appetite. the last time lucas feel, i brought him to PD, PD told me direct fall is still nt as bad as shaking the baby. Dont worry, Elliot be fine. U take care too.

you've got to put Elliot in a playpen to nap and lower the level .Ayden is already holding onto things and supporting himself up these days - really danger zone! Don't worry, Ell will be ok. Check with PD later for assuarance k.

my bb lower leg look a little curved and not straight, looks bowed to me.

be calm dont panic, observe and monitor ur boy, if still worried maybe can bring him to see doc to check.

I felt very bad too when my gal fell from my bed last time. From then onwards, we let her sleep on mattress on the floor.

apple gal, yes the octotune had jus arrived at elise house. no delivery to sebawang... i will collect from elise, but i cant promise to collect for everyone from north side.



cc, i've got no confident to bring z out alone. not even the nearby shopping mall alone.

 
jmmabb, yes! Babies will be stronger and fitter. All those fevers are signs of the baby's immune system fighting back. Jiayou! Jiayou! Don't give baby too much med if fever temp taken by ear is not higher than 37.8 degrees like that. Just give her the cooling patch or rub her down with a cooled, hardboiled deshelled egg. Works for Heidi.



We mommies jiayou together! I have to fed Heidi med at 3am cos she woke up coughing and PD instructed to concentrate her med in afternoon, night and late night. It's not easy trying to feed her myself. But I am determined to follow through for 3 days at least. (unless she don't cough until wake up then I will skip the late night feed) Need to get her health back on track.

 
CC, i think i can imagine from ur description. Its seems the same massage demo by my mum. I will ask my PILs to help do during weekdays n i will do it on wkends. Hope to get them corrected. Thanks!
