Shaine, think tiramisu contains alcohol but shouldn't be a lot. If you want to take, take it immediately after BF then wait 3 hrs before feeding baby again, should be ok. Best if you take it immediately after last milk feed so that alchohol got some time to pass out of body.
Miumiu, when I weaned off my no. 1, latching was the thing I missed most. Touching her hair and smelling her while I latch her on and seeing her fall asleep with a contented smile.

Super tired handling bb, me only ebm for bb, couldnt latch him, so gave up latching. yesterday breast engorged, nearly wanna die man, cold shiver, called parent craft and advise me to massage hard and pump using the highest mode to pump the milk out. Now better liao, but still can feel the lump on the breast. will continue massaging n pumping.
I ever thought of giving up ebm, cos very tiring, after pumping, have to feed bb, then clean his poo poo, wash the cloth diaper, steam the milk bottles and pumps.
very sian, I very bad mummy too, whenever bb cries or scream I will stuff the pacifier into his mouth to make him shut up. cannot take his screams lah, very noisy. My bb loves to be carried I super tired have to carry him and shake my body to pacify him to sleep. Just now he refused to sleep, I carried him n shaked him for an hr, finally he fell asleep. super duper tired.

i remember when i gave birth to #1...i v suaku...no pump..but too much milk...i was depressed from engorge breasts..and i dun like to be left wif bb...and latching is painful because of my cracked nipples....so i gave up after 1 month...overall i was happier...and its for selfish reasons too..
#2 i tried for 3 months...i forgot how i did it...but supply tail off on last month..
for wateva reasons...if its for your well being..choose wat you are happy wif...till now i still haf frens who choose to stop milk right from day 1 wif medicine...its her personal choice to NOT wan to breast feed...because she wans to retain the shape of her breast...
her child is as clever if not smarter than other kids.....
so do not feel bad if you really wan to stop...

pauline - wat u say is correct.. i missed holding my bb to my body and spending personal time wif him.. sigh.. tink mi oso too selfish liao.. cuz tired and cant plan my own timing and schedule.. sigh..

hi all, nv hv time to pop by for a few days le. Cl left since last thurs. Super tired handling no 1 n 2 myself. Wake up 6.30am daily n sleep at 12 plus am daily n not including the nite waking to feed milk. Did baby shower yst. Rgd 3rd mth bash, i may not b able to make it on that timing cos my no 1 hv enrichment fm 1pm to 2pm every sat. So sad. U guys enjoy n i join other gathering if time permits.
thanks mummies, i today managed to clear much of his cradle cap. phew~ apply olive oil and use comb + my fingernails combo.. now his eyebrows area cleared. head still got bit.
GG, i super angry with myself for making such mistakes lo. the avent teats really horrible. if u wanna switch to nuk, must buy the Premium Choice range(wide neck type) teats to fit. im doing that now. im using size 1(for 0-6 months) Medium flow(for milk). Small size is for water and breastmilk. im using M size only, for breastmilk and FM. bb will leak abit from the corners of his mouth, but ok la. but i continue using avent size 2 for water, cuz i think nuk M size might be too fast for him.
i think my ss decrease. why huh? i've been pumping deligently. any mummies taking fenugreek? helps anot? now, ard few hrs after i pump, i can suddenly feel stinging pain for few seconds at the nipples. sometimes milk will come out. why is this so? the few seconds is VERY PAIN. argh.....
my hubby will only help to carry, feed(rarely) and wash+sterilise pumps/bottles. he cant even change diapers lo. sometimes i hope he can take over night shift once a while. but haiz...

Fatbabe, I take rubbish too as in tea and coffee. No. 2 already, I even took during preggie but only a few times so I more bo chap now. But alchohol I dun dare lar cos scared of their liver cannot cope. Anyway, I don't drink so it's easy for me to avoid.
Miumiu, ya lor, wherever I go, must be within 3 hrs window unless my baby is with me. Even go hair salon must separate my treatment so that I can be back in 3 hrs. Jeanie- I make hubby do n stand one side n guide/correct at first can be quite frustrating but when he get used to it, everything is so much easier. At least when I'm really tired or need to visit the toilet, he will do the rest for me Practise make prefect so don't expect guy to do as well as us but give them a chance to learn. hi all, can i check abt bb poo poo and pee pee.. my bb is 6 days old.. he poos ard 7-8 times daily lei.. siit normal? he has lesser poo instead...
when wil the poo lessen arh? everytime feed, almost poo ing lei...
and i tried to pump 60ml ebm to bottle feed him at night with nuk bottle, he puke put quite a fair bit cos i think he drank too fast until milk is leaking from the side of his mouth... i think i cant introduce bottle feedin to him lor.. see him puke so much, so poor thing... moreover, after bottle feedin, he stil cryin and i let him latch on, he drink somemore lor... think all the bottle milk he drink and puke mostly lor.. end up bottle feddin make me more shag...
direct latchin still nt so bad.. sometimes he can slp and drag the interval btw longest at 4 hrs.. shortest ard 1+ to 2 hrs.. but mostly 3hrs interval...

i'll skip the gathering cos otherwise everyone need to bring halal food or tapau my own food...hahaha...anyway, with 5 kids in tow don't think can make it lah...you guys have a good time.
btw, my baby is almost 4 wks old.my ss is not up yet and not having a let down..feel like giving up

u must burp bb after feeding.. if bb cant burp.. then must try to let bb be upright for 15 mins before putting down to zz...

hi shokel, did u check if the nuk teats are size S or M? Coz the flow is faster for M size n ur bb may need S size. When i bought the nuk premium bottles, they all come with M size teats. Luckily, the saleslady inform me. Then i bought S size teats on my own.

so you supplementing with fm? i tried giving FM once, but my son spit up 'tau hui' afew times.
So i continue BM, just monitor his wet/dirty diapers. bought lactate support to increase milk, been taking for 3 days.hope it helps..
just wonder why, i don't get let down like my previous children. Its quite stressful.
