mummies - how do we noe when we nid to increase the amount of milk given to bb?? reali confused and blur man..
 


miu, yeah loh! she always fall asleep when drinking, we give up le... 3 wks old drink 90ml.. now already 6wks old also only drinking 90ml

Ainsley, I fed my baby from 630-730pm and from 930-11pm today. She drinks very little cos got regurgitate/runny nose and farts/poos a bit and worse now she got diaper rash.

Roxy, mine used to be a very good drinker, don't know what happened. Sigh...
 
Pauline, u fed ur bb for so long? 9.30-11? I fed her ard 10+, nw jus finished feeding.

Miu, my bb does swallow if she cries ard 1.5hrs. Usually if she start comfort suckling, I will unlatch her. Hmm.. Then Like tat hw? Jus let her drink when she wants?
 
Re night feedin

my boy always feed on 1 breast after tat he will fall asleep. Try all method to wake him up but he still continue sleepin. Do I feed him my ebm or juz let him continue sleepin??
 
Ainsley - my bb suckle to sleep de lor, she just wan to suck for comfort only when she cry i either let her suckle or carry her and shake shake she will fall asleep.

yesterdat i feed her from 11am to 1230pm but still can pump out 90ml means she drink so little only over the period leh.
 
Genesis, wat is breast compression? I dun think I shd stimulate my breast le. My ss is bk n leaking, spraying. Jus changed my bra n clothe. All wet.

Anny, Last time I oso feed for abt an hour bt nt 1.5 hr so long... Change her diaper usually wake her up..nw... I wan her to slp lor. Lol
 
Ainsley, fed so long cos on and off plus changing diaper plus applying diaper rash cream, give anti wind med, give nosr drops etc lor. She woke up to feed at 2am n 6am. Pumping now cos she hardly drank the other side. :p
 
Pauline, so gd gt 4 hrs. Last night my bb 3 hrly. V punctual.. 1+, 4+, n nw 7+. I think I cnt ask for more for nw le. Lol..day time my bb will turn into monster instead of night. Lol
 
hey.. my boy's rashes is not like mila seeds with "white" tip. but it's like "yellowish" tip leh... normal?

i see his face, i wan to cry.

MTDT - isit baby acne?? like pimples?? if yes, then normal.. no worries...
where is the rashes?? on cheeks??
 
pauline, if bb is not feeding as well as last time , better bring go see PD.. we just came back from PD, conclusion, she has colic, though last week she was declared perfectly fine n no wind.. suddenly dis week develop colic, and she also having oral thrush, all of which is causing her poor feeding and i was still 'scolding' her last nite for not drinking haiz.. so its not her fault
 
Hi Mummies,
How often does your breastfed baby poo? My baby poo almost every 2 feeds...and the poo is yellowish and watery with a little bit of solid stool. Sorry for being so gross on describing her poo but am worry that she's actually allegic to my breast milk.

No worries, my baby also develop those pimples like rashes....According to my mum and sis, it's normal. Usually it'll happen to babies whose mummies having sensitive skin. If you are really concern on her condition, then consult skin specialist. There's one skin specialist quite good who cure my niece face when she's having those milk stain (red patch) on her face with cream he prescribe.

Bluegal, ur baby's poo is normal n healthy. breastfed bb's poo r yellowish runny seedy. Hw old is ur bb? My bb poo less after 1 mth. Before tat, poo after every feed.

Augleo, the person who has dengue fever stays at blk 914. Jus nxt to my blk!!
 
mtdt, yesterday, my boy went to the doc for the rashes thingy too. doc said it's heat rash, but didnt prescribe any cream. he said juz apply baby lotion, moisturiser for bb or aloe vera gel.
actually, we've been applying aloe vera since thu, &amp; today, i realised his condition has improved.

Thanks for your reply.....am glad someone is here to ensure me that her poo is normal. My baby is exactly 2 weeks today. ya poo almost every 2 feeds thus always worried her stomach is empty and she's already quite small in size yet she doesn't drink much...
 
bluegal - dun worrie.. wat ainsley say is correct... they will hav abt 7-8 soiled diapers everyday.. so no worries.. until they r 1 mth and the no will reduced.. PD told mi when mi went for 1st mth check ydae!!

my bb has been vomiting milk the whole day, he has vomited those "Tao Huai" kind of milk sometimes after his feed. Is there anything wrong with him? Anyone having this problem?

Ainsley : my bb always cries or makes a big fussy b4 he sleeps.
 
Canopyhaze, reali ah? Like tat I nt so worried le. Cos she always start to cry for slp awhile after her feed. (if she nv slp while drinking)
bt weird lor. Night time dun hv this prob. He guai guai drink then slp, n feed in 3 hrs time, even nv fall aslp wun cry for suckle or wat. Carry her a short while then she will fall aslp
 
Rashes with yellow tip is baby acne? It's all over it's face... Mainly forehead, cheeks, and even eyelids.Today chest and arms also hv

All along I tot it's heat rash as it seems to get worse after hot bathe or when suntanning. But just so pek chek tat it's not getting better but worst!

my bb v difficult to burp after feed.
sometimes, after patting his back for 15-20min, he still doesnt burp...
sigh...
so, sometimes 'tau huey', milk or water will flow out frm his mouth when he's sleeping.

Ling Lee - sometimes overpattin will cause bb to spit up and vomit milk oso... PD says juz pat for 5-10 mins.. if dun hav then dun pat anymore..

wah.. my bb today cant zz for long.. zz for 5 -10 mins then cry and wanna carry.. sianz.. dun do anything.. cant even pump milk lor..
 
hey ladies, do u feel sianz these days? I've lost track of time and things ard me, seems to me, my whole day revolve ard my bb, feeding, changing diapers, expressing milk, washing bb's clothes, burping, carrying, the list goes on &amp; on......
Deprive of going out or doing my own things.....feel so tired perpetually, r u ladies feeling it as well???
 
miumiu, today ur turn ah.. I can totally understand man, It's really tiring and frustrating.. Mine today slp more and longer le..
 
Today finally went out with 2kids... And no1 shows signs of jealousy liao.. I can't carry baby.. Hv to carry/hold hands with no1. So hubby hv to carry no2... Hehe
 


miu, you try to stay near ur baby and pat him before he wakes up... Or maybe put your clothe nearby so that he can sense ur smell? My friend taught me this but I duno if it works
