Hi there, Got one question for mummies. I planning for 3th one still early oni 3weeks so can't test. I was bathing so i massage my breast then found out theres some milky liquid coming out. Does it mean im pregnant? or is just left over residue from last pregnant? which is 1.3yrs ago.
 
Heee...ya....I think all mummies to be having the same questions yeah? I also had some discharge...and like haitong I won't say totally no smell at all...but light smell la...

Yes...aiyo...I am putting on weight ...and I feel my belly (6wks) starting to show a little lor..can't fit into my size 27 jeans anymore! Need to start buying new bras too...husband happily tell me lets go shopping this weekend for new clothes..dunno to laugh or be sad!
 
hi all, i have brown discharge went to see dr n found some clogged blood in my vagina.. took some clogged blood for sample and analysis.. hopefully pray hard everything will be fine.

GG, i read from another trend, you have not told your PIL that you are pregnant yet? HOw about your own parents? When u intend to tell them the good news?

I dunno if I put on weight, but some of my colleagues said me slimmer now after marriage...(i just got married in early Jan09)....So i doubt me put on any weight..me abt same weeks as u also.....

I have put my details into the form already.

on MS
This is my second pregnancy, and like the first time , I haven't had any MS thus far. but had an outbreak of acne a few days ago. also feeling more tired and get hungry more frequently.

on telling others
hubby and i haven't told anyone (apart from our 17-month old) about our pregnancy since we tested positive last sunday. he thinks maybe tell after our first gyne visit (likely in mid-may). i felt like i wanted to tell when we saw my parents last sunday but decided not to. actually i am glad we didn't yet. otherwise i will be getting a lot of suggestions/ concern now (which will come when we tell later).

but this period of quietness gives me space to think and pray and not be too caught up and excited (which was the case with the first pregnancy)

nevertheless pregnancy is a wonderfully exciting time - it is like participating in a miracle - and yes let's enjoy this time as much as we can!

Roxy, yup keeping fingers crossed, stopped taking duphaston since my last gynae visit since Dr Loh made it sound optional. hee.

Avocado, noticed your EDD date is 5 Dec (We have 4 ladies with 5 Dec as EDD so far) so I've inserted a new row for you and resaved the file, we are sorting the list by EARLIEST EDD first.

Can I use medicated oil to rub the sides of my forehead when i feel dizzy? I find that it helps me then i read u guys saying not sure whether can medicated oil on your tummy.... i got worried.

yesterday i went to see my gynae and saw baby's heartbeat... felt like crying..
 
Is it necessary to drink those dumex for pregnancy milk? Can drink only HL milk? Dunno leh, i drank a few times those for pregnant mums milk, but now when i think of viallia, like no appepite....

So wondering if i replace with drinking HL milk, is it sufficient?

i also dun like the pregnant mums milk the taste too think and taste funny. For me i only drink anlene milk, my first preggy also drink anlene milk. End up my son also quite big 3.385kg i was also surprised. But hor one thing is HL is cold yet if you really wanna drink do make hot. I would advise if you are in first trimster dun eat and drink too much cold things
 
hi normally i drink enfamama milk cos i like this taste, i tried other , cant take the taste..
i preg milk got more nutrients for the bb..
 
Hi Pauline, need ur advice..i had brownish/red discharge yesterday evening and went to KK 24hrs clinic for a scan thank God BB is well. but strangely after the v-scan i had fresh blood flowing out when i step out of the room. I was also given a progestrone jab and duphaston and the bleeding stopped ard 9pm. now hvg very mild on-off cramps. so sad

Hi Pauline, roxy and ladies..

I hvnt been online cox I'm admitted at SGH. Doc suspected for ectopic pregnancy cox of my light bleeding and no baby sac. So now hv to be warded and monitor beta hcg level every day. Did another scn ysterday but can't see bb still. Doc said of might be an early pregnancy as well since even if u take clomid ur ovulation may still be delayed.

I hv no bleeding eversince they asked me to stop taking duphaston. Oh yah my first scan saw a 4cm mass near the ovary so that's why they suspect it's ectopic. But then agn they said that it's prolly just a cyst and still hopeful that we miscalculate on the ovulation period and that the sac is too tiny to be seen.

At the moment the gynae said that they are not in a hurry to do an op on me since I'm well and no pain. So now it's a monitoring period cox my hcg was at 550 on Tuesday and rose to 1700 on Friday.

Need all your prayers so that we can detect the sac in the womb this Monday.

If follow a normal period cycle I'm 6 weeks. But since I'm irregular, gynae still cannot make up how many weeks I am right now. So needs the sac to be seen before he can say how many weeks I am in.

I'm not seeing Yu Su Ling now. Since Roland Chieng is handling my case right now, I let him continue with my case.

Thk god for this iPhone at least I'm not so bored here...
 
babylove22, sorry to hear that, you must be so worried but at least the scan shows that baby is fine and they have given you a jab. Try to rest more at home, don't move about and don't exert. When is your next appt with Dr Yu? Could have asked the KK 24 hr doctor to get you an earlier appt so that she can review your case faster.

Andreanie, poor gal. Looks like can only wait and see hcg blood results everyday then. What a terrible waiting and not knowing period for you. Maybe yours is just late ovulation. Heard Dr Roland Chieng is not bad, last time, my ex colleague had ectopic also handled by him. In the end, don't need surgery, very heng. Take care and hugz.

Yah seems like Dr Roland Chieng is a good gynae. His explainations are very clear. Now it's a wait and see period for me. So boring here in hospital can't do much. Makes me hv bodyaches cox of the bed and uncomfortable being ard all sorts of ppl and sickness. I hv 3 'neybours' here too.

i'm just back from antenatal checkup, sac also not detected. Gynae say too early therefore ask me to go back in 2 weeks time. Was given Duphaston once i told him of my previous case of M/Cs.

I had an ectopic about two years ago and had surgery done.. i was in bad pain then but didnt know that it was a pregnancy cos i had my menses as usual..
I hope you dont have to go through that girl, rest well!
 
Dear mummies,
anyone taking medication for MS?
I have bad ms and Dr Khi has given me two types of medicine, one to be taken orally and one to be inserted in the rectum..
i tried both, the oral one helps a bit but dosent make the sickness go away, still merlion..
I tried the rectal one, helps me stay asleep at night, dont need to wake up to merlion, but in the day, also not useful in taking away the ms...
haiyoh..anyone tried these medications? is it safe for baby? should i continue taking?

Did doctor give you hospitalisation leave to rest at home.. u cannot walk around and carry heavy things.. bed rest is very impt... do not be unduly worried abt the bleeding k? For my no 1, i bled 3 times, each time fresh red blood and flow heavy like AF but my ds is now 11 mths le (praise god) so dun worry!

Andreanie, for my ex colleague's case, it was ectopic cos she had tubal surgery before (a brush with cancer) so she only has 1 tube and managed to have 3 daughters. It was when she was trying for a son (4th one) that she kenna ectopic. :p
 
Thanks ladies for yr well wishes. Today I'm gng for another scan and also checking my beta hcg level. Gynae said hcg level shld increase to 5000-6000 range tdy. If it did go up as expected we are on the right track. Hopefully can see the sac tdy.

I'm praying very hard that this will go through smoothly...

Glad that the forum is up!

I also experienced light bleeding (abt a pantyliner) last Fri, rushed to see gynae on Sat morn and he gave me a hormones jab and prescribed me Turinal to stabilise the pregnancy. He did the scan and we cld still see the nice sac, which in fact grew from 0.66cm to 2.28cm in just 5 days!
The bleeding happened again last night though...haiz so worrying. Have to monitor situation till my next appt in 2 weeks. Really hope it's nothing serious...

Yup, haven't told yet...cos better to at least wait for gynae visit. And for some people they only tell after 1st trimester and stabilised..You tell already? But some old folks may be very sharp in observing lor...hahaha...so we may have to cook some stories

Wow, you all can bear with the suspense ah.. i cannot and immediately told parents, in laws and entire family on the day i test positive hpt, even my boss n some colleagues also know le, cause i told them also..


I saw bb heartbeat last Sat on my first visit to gynae... To me, I found the yoke sac too big and heartbeat too slow (which are signs of potential mc, which was wat happened to me during my mc then) Gynae told me its normal but he refuse to confirm with me that everything is ok.. just told me to come visit him every 2 weeks and take it from there. Baby measured 0.6cm then (so small!!) and my edd is 9th December. I hope im just being negative and everything is fine. Anyway now we are taking it more kan de kai le, if bb is ours, its ours. We'll just pray and hope for best

Nope, I also haven tell any1 except hubby...also thinking of after the 1st gynae visit then see how....but i think i have to tell my parent-in-laws 1st cos me staying with them currently...want to tell them dun anyhow shift the house furniture or watever lo...or else very difficult lo..but my fil quite lout speaker 1 lo..tell him he wil spread around....so see how after the doc visit..
 
Sgkidz - don't worry so much, at least u can see ur bb sac. How many weeks are u in?

I just did my ultrasound. The sonographer is really insensitive. She confidently said that I had ruptured ectopic pregnancy. I feel like slapping her just now. She's really not sensitive, how sure is she when she's not even the doctor? Sigh...

Ladies : I tested BFP on last friday. Think my EDD shle be in Dec bah. Tml gg for gyn check up, dunno would be able to see the sac a not.
 
seems like we're on the topic of discharge. i also had some brown discharge last week. went to see doc and he gave me some duphaston too. then after that had very light spotting. it stopped already so hope all is fine when i see him this wed!

i only told my parents and sister. dun intend to tell PILs yet until reaching end of 1st tri. have to tell parents cos they help me look after my number 1 in the evenings... :p
 
andreanie, take care! some medical workers can be very insentitive. perhaps cos they are so desensitised...
 
Roxy - can't see still.. Now waiting for the doc to come to see me with the hcg results.
Hopefully I can go bk tdy and just monitor from home. Hopefully it's a normal pregnancy and that it's just too early to see...

Hi everyone. I'm just tested positive last mon, 13th April 09. I went to the polyclinic to confirm and to refer me to kkh but it turn out that the 1st appointment to be 25th may 09. Is KKh that packed now? or is it that refer from polyclinic that's why they purposely put me on long weight?

As my mensus was irregular, my tentative EDD is currently fix on 18th Dec. Will firm up on my EDD on next Gynae Appt which will be mid of May.

Mumood : You able to see the sac on which week?? Cos im seeing my gyn tml also, tested +ve one day later than you.. How many wks then can see the sac?
