My friend used it and recommended to me, but my in laws dun like using them coz my daughter is quite scared of the heat (she needs to sleep in aircon in the day and night). But I think it does safe quite a bit of money and easier to use than normal cloth diapers. U keen to buy 2nd hand items (used for <1yr)? can sell 4 for $60 including 10 brand new inserts. U can try them out for a while to see if you like it before getting more.
