Jurong Gynae Recommendations?

Hi! I just found out Im pregnant recently...as I am staying in jurong..i hope to see gynae that is near to the west area..

Mummy-to-be and Mummy, please help!

Can try Dr Tho. He was my gynae and I find him gentle and patient in answering question.

Hi Claireal,
from my experience on Dr Tho, he is an unethical gynae whom want to earn money. He advised me to take C-Sect package just because I have twin. In the end, I have switched to an ethical gynae at Thomson Medical. I have successfully natural birth to a 3 years twin boys.

Do your our best to give your kid and your health a good guidance. Nearby gynae doesn't it is good.

Unethical will be too harsh a word to be used on Dr Tho. In fact, he was the one who encouraged me to go for natural birth when I had my first pregnancy and baby was big considering my petite size. During labour, I also almost give up trying on natural birth and told him I wanna go for c-sect but he encouraged me to push harder multiple times. Eventually I gv birth naturally to a healthy baby boy.

I'm currently seeing Dr Tho again for my 2nd pregnancy. Though this pregnancy comes with complication but I'm confident that Dr Tho will help me through it.

Just sharing my personal experience.

I had 2 pregnancies under Dr Tho care, for my 2nd pregnancy, it was low placenta, anyway Dr Tho still encouraged me go to natural, till the end no choice, has go to C-section. Dr Tho not like u said "unethical" maybe there was some misunderstanding.

from what i know, majority of multiple pregnancies end up c-sect. one reason is that the human womb is not meant to contain multiple fetuses, and thats why gynaes recommend c-sect in the 7th month of pregnancy. and yeap, such cases, babies are born premmie.

only a very small handful of multiple pregnancies (twins, triplets etc) last full term, its not easy on mummies.

u r a strong mum to carry ur twins till full term, great job!
