Today i want to share How to use Autoclave Sterilizer
1, Piling up: Bind up the sterilized drugs, then place them sequentially on the screen plate of the sterilizing bucket. Please leave appropriate gap between every two bags to facilitate the cold air overflow from the bucket as well as the steam penetration, and improve the sterilization effect.
2, Add water: Add 4 liters of clean water into the sterilizer. As the water will gradually evaporate during the process and water level will be reduced accordingly, so before each use, please add enough water into the sterilizer, in order to avoid the heating pipe from dehydration and dry heating, or damage the heating pipe.
3, Sealing: Place the sterilized bucket into the sterilizer body, insert the hose on the cover into the semi-circular groove on the inner wall of the sterilization barrel, and then close the cover. Screw the bolt on the cover with that of the body, and then sequentially insert the wing nuts one the relative orientation into the trench and then tighten it, fianlly tightly close the cover and the body.
4, Heating; Plug the sterilizer power into the 10A / 220V external power. Rotate the power switch to the "on" position, the power indicator lights up, and the electric heating pipe starts to heat up. Then rotate the discharge valve wrench to "DISCHARGE", once there is more urgent steam spraying out, rotate the valve wrench to the "CLOSE" position. At this time the pressure gauge rotates slowly clockwise, displaying the sterilizer pressure is gradually increasing, so does the temperature.
5. Sterilization: when the sterilizer pressure reaches the needed range, the user can start to count the sterilizing time. During the sterilization, user can control the heat source by rotating the "Open" or "Close" on the sterilizer, or connect a regulating transformer to properly reduce the voltage so that the pressure in the sterilizer maintain stably. However, the maintaining constant pressure inside the sterilizer should not be lower than the selected value. If the user doe not using the above method to control the heat source, then the safety valve will release overpressure steam during the sterilization, and the set pressure is 0.165MPa.
6. Drying: For products such as medical equipment, dressings and utensils that need rapid drying after sterilization, you can quickly discharge the steam in the sterilizer through the discharge valve, once the pressure gauge pointer returns to "0"scale, wait for 1 to 2 minutes and then open the cover. After opening the cover, keep heating for 10 to 15 minutes to vapor off the residual water vapor on the priducts. Then rotate the power switch to "off" position to stop heating.
7, Cooling: After sterilizing the liquid medium and other liquids, please do not quickly discharge the steam in the sterilizer through the discharge valve, in case the liquid boil violently and cause overflow or breaking out of the bottle and other dangerous accidents. Therefore after sterilization, you should first turn the power switch to the "off" position, stop heating, let it cool down until the gauge pointer returned to "0" scale. Wait a few minutes and then put valve wrench to "discharge steam" position, and then open the cover.
8, You should frequently use a thermometer, a sterilization indicator or bacterial culture method to check the needed temperature and time to achieve reliable sterilization.
