    my kids love this series of chinese books "shu(3) xian(3) di(4)" which is about a little mouse adventures and it is humourous and The Gruffalo (by Julia Donaldson) is a great book that is interesting and the words rhyme too! got these recommendations fr alittlecaterpillar people
